This dog has the cleverest idea to keep playing fetch.
Bear the Labrador loves playing fetch with his owners. However, there are times when his owners can’t play with him since they have to leave to house sometimes.
To satisfy his urge to play with his ball, he invented a way to play fetch all by himself, and that includes a huge trampoline. Bear grabs the ball with his mouth and places it on the trampoline. Afterward, Bear crawls under and start nudging the ball from below the trampoline to make it bounce.
Bear follows the ball’s trajectory, and he catches when it flies up from the top of the trampoline. Bear does this repeatedly, and he already has an infinite fetch machine for himself.
Bear is not lonely anymore as he can play all day long with his own fetch device.
The tireless Labrador never get sick of playing with his tennis ball. When his loving fur-parents are out, Bear still has hours of entertainment. His fur-parents don’t have to worry as much about Bear anymore after they learned that he could play fetch all by himself, keeping himself occupied and entertained all day long.
The dog found out about this by himself.
Stephanie Venuta, Bear’s owner, told The Daily Mail that the dog just discovered this method one day when her kids were jumping on the trampoline.
“When our kids were little and bouncing he would bounce with them,” Stephanie said. “As they climbed in, he would drop a ball in the net with them.”
His clip of playing fetch with a trampoline instantly went viral on the internet.
Bear’s owners were able to sneak a camera while Bear was playing with himself. The owners posted the video online and the clip spread like fire all over the internet. The story was featured on The Daily Mail, and the clip was also posted by NTD Television on Facebook, where it racked up more than three million views and 207k total reactions.
Why is it important to play with your dog?
Aside from the social interaction and the bond that you could build with your dog, there are more reasons why it’s necessary to play with them. Playing with your dog could benefit them both physically and mentally. As it is their means of exercising, it could keep their heart and bones healthy as well as their balance and coordination. It is also an exercise for the brain as it could keep your dog’s mind and senses keen. Moreover, it is a must to burn out some excess energy from your dog to avoid them acting out in the house.
