Dog Left At A 'Kill' Shelter Wearing Her Pink Sweater Always Cries Herself To Sleep
She cries herself to sleep every night, then an angel heard her.

A tiny Chihuahua didn’t understand why she was in a cage in an animal shelter.

One second, the one-year-old dog was living with her owner and enjoying a nice, typical dog’s life. But then, without warning, her owner surrendered her to the high-kill Carson Animal Shelter in California. The shelter gave the Chihuahua a little pink sweater to keep her warm, but they couldn’t offer much else. The shelter was overcrowded, and if the little Chihuahua wasn’t adopted soon, they would have to put her to sleep.

The heartbroken Chihuahua cried herself to sleep at night, whimpering to herself as the other dogs barked around her.

Animal rescue group Saving Carson Shelter Dogs shared a Facebook video of the dog, hoping to draw attention to her plight.

Saving Carson Shelter Dogs also put up a Facebook post sharing more details about the dog.

Thankfully, this story has a happy ending.

A woman saw the post and contacted a friend who was interested in adopting a dog. The woman quickly swooped in and saved the pup.
