Fatherhood is an amazing time. Being able to create and nurture a brand-new life is one of the most amazing experiences in this world. When someone has a baby, they finally get a glimpse into their parenting abilities. Will they able to attend to all of their child’s needs? Will the child be smothered in caring and love?

One cat named Mango showed his owners that he would make the puuuuurrrfect father when he jumped into a pen full of tiny rabbits.

The video, which was uploaded to Rumble a few years ago, shows a giant, fluffy ginger cat surrounded by tiny, hopping bunnies.

According to the cat’s owner, Mango is very caring and affectionate. He also has experience raising foster kittens.

His owner explains, ‘Before I could get his mom fixed, she had a litter of five. When they were old enough to bring inside from their mom, Mango cared for them.

“I have since fostered around six other feral kittens once they are out of quarantine, Mango is in there grooming and playing with them.”

On this day in particular, Mango had somehow managed to get himself into the bunnies’ pen. Although some cats may have attacked the hopping rabbits like prey, Mango seemed to think they were just jumpy, little kittens!

In the adorable video, which has been viewed nearly 4 million times, you see someone approaching the rabbit’s pen. A few brown rabbits sit near the front wall, while Mango is huddled further in with his back to the camera.

From this position, who knows what the kitty could be doing to the poor bunny! As the person approaches, however, the camera reveals Mango, one paw softly pinning the rabbit down as he grooms and licks like the many kittens he’s fostered.

Mango doesn’t seem to realize that the rabbits are not fluffy little kittens. Or, if he does, he’s just not one to discriminate with his affection and love. When the first kitten is done getting loved up and bathed by Mango, another bunny steps up to check him out.

Mango and the bunny stare at each other for a few seconds before the cat whips out his paw, softly pins the bunny down, and starts smothering him with gentle licks and kisses too!

According to Daily Mail UK, Mango was found under the decking of his owner’s house in Louisville, Kentucky. At this time, he was only a tiny kitten, and despite having given away his siblings, the house humans decided that something about the caring cat caught their eye.
