Mango is a very unique cat. He just loves kittens. But when he joined some baby rabbits in a pen, he decided that they were now his babies.
Mango’s owners came across some baby rabbits who needed a home. They took them in and decided to care for them until they grew up.
But it wasn’t just the owners who decided to look after the babies.
The owners set up a pen in their living room for the rabbits.
Mango decided to check out what was going on. When he saw the tiny fluffy creatures in the pen, he was amazed and leaped right inside. He figured that they were some kittens and needed some love.
When Mango saw the “kittens” up close, he figured that they looked a little odd but couldn’t work out why. Still, he knew that they had to be looked after.
So one by one, he started licking clean the baby rabbits as if they were his own. Pretty soon, he’d cleaned them all.
Then he kept on nurturing and snuggling the cute little creatures.
Luckily, Mango’s owners were filming the moment when Mango took the rabbits under his wing. This video then appeared online, where it soon went viral. To date, it has gained over 3.5 million views. It also has more than 30,000 likes and 2,100 comments. People have been saying things like this:
Clearly, lots of people online have taken a liking to Mango and his nurturing nature.
And this isn’t Mango’s only video. The others prove that Mango’s attentiveness wasn’t just a one-off. He’s just as caring all the time.
Mango’s second video appeared a week after the first one. In that short span of time, the rabbits had done a lot of growing up.
The video showed Mango doing what he often did at that time. He watched the baby rabbits play in their pen, ensuring that they were safe.
Then the family’s other cat, Alvin, walked up to one of the rabbits and gave them a little kiss through the bars of the pen.
Alvin wasn’t always as attentive as Mango. But he had learned from the other cat’s example and was showing the babies affection.
Then the family took in a genuine foster kitten. And Mango reacted just as they expected.
As soon as Emmy the kitten came into the home, Mango ran up to her and gave her a cuddle. Then, just like the rabbits, he started licking the kitten clean. Emmy must have realized at that point that she was safe!
Also, Mango’s sister, Chloe, looked on, learning from Mango how to treat houseguests.
Soon, Chloe had also started licking Emmy clean.
And then Emmy started cuddling Mango back, showing her appreciation for the warm welcome.
Then Mango’s owners uploaded another video of him with their next foster kitten.
The video showed Mango and Amber, the kitten, cuddling together in a comfy bed.
Then Mango placed a paw on Amber and looked at her, as if he were asking if she was all right.
Lastly, he placed his chin over her head to give her an extra feeling of security.
Obviously, Mango gets along well with all of the animals that come into his house. But he and Amber formed an extra special connection. Amber even followed Mango all over the home, the owners explained.
