Every cat owner knows the terror that comes with not being able to find your cat, but for cat owner Grace Spelman and her cat Pierogi, the feeling must come on the daily.
This is Pierogi— and she’s really good at hide-and-seek.
In fact, Pierogi is so good at hide-and-seek that her hiding spots have become a Twitter phenomenon.
Pierogi and her owner Grace Spelman (a writer and comedian) live in New York. The hijinx began when Spelman moved to a new apartment, and Pierogi decided she would have to explore. Pierogi got into every nook and cranny the new apartment had to offer, squeezing and camouflaging her body in amazingly surprising ways.
Soon enough, Spelman was coming home every day, trying to locate her cat in their new place. It didn’t take long until her Twitter followers were invited in on the hunt. Spelman started uploading photos of her apartment, showcasing Pierogi’s professional-level hiding spots— and now people are going so far as to call Pierogi ‘the new Where’s Waldo’!
