Cats are very interesting creatures. They can be curious and troublesome or quiet and lazy. There is really no limit to the amount of personalities cats can have.
These animals can sleep half their lives away. Its the one thing they do most and they will sleep anywhere. This video isn’t the first example of a cat falling asleep on a piano but it definitely is the best video because this cat acts like he simply fell asleep in any regular bed.
The cat’s owner and skilled pianist begins to play a song from the film Howl’s Moving Castle, but the cat sleeping inside the piano doesn’t seem to mind.
Instead he lays there, occasionally getting pet and booped on the nose by his owner playing the tune.
This cat falls asleep on the piano, but no matter what note or chord his owner plays, he doesn’t wake up. He never moves. He never even opens his eyes. Despite the sound and the movement of the piano wires, nothing is affecting this cat.
It’s clear. he is either so tired that he doesn’t even realize there is music playing, or the movement of the wires is like getting a massage and he’s relaxing.
Either way this cat has it made. With a comfy sleeping spot and beautiful music with his owner keeping him company, why should he ever move?
About halfway through the piece another cat joins in, and this guy is a little more curious. He looks around hears the music and eventually jumps down, while the other cat settles in and begins to fall asleep again. Now that his friend is gone he can go back to relaxing.
The video goes on like this for about 6 minutes, and you keep watching not only because the sleeping cat is entertaining, but the musician is so good at what he is doing. It’s clear this guy is a professional and is familiar with the piece since he plays it flawlessly.
The video has received over a million views a nd everyone that has watched has probably watched it again or made a comment about about how great this content truly is. “People rarely perform this piece correctly. They often omit the crucial head pat and nose boops. Well one sir, THIS is how you do it.” read one of the most popular comments. And everything from then on was complimenting the skill or commenting on the cuteness of the mans cat. Who knew cats and pianos were such a good combination!
