Tiny kitten raised by pack of huskies starts developing unusually hilarious behaviors
A 3-week-old kitten on the brink of death was brought back to life by a Siberian husky. After growing up with her hero and two other dogs she started exhibiting some not so usual behaviors.

Ever owned a pet that acted oddly, like a completely different animal? A cat that would alert you with frantic growling sounds as the delivery person approaches the house? A dog that curls up like a kitten?

There’s one family whose pet pig loves to play fetch with its fellow dogs. And a sea lion that loves to cuddle its handler’s pooch.

All sorts of crazy animal tales exists, but this one is probably one of the sweetest. A stray kitten roaming the streets of California all alone ran into three Californians who changed her life forever.

They couldn’t just leave her there to fend for herself, so sisters Thoa, Thi and Tram Bui took the tiny furball home with them.

The baby was a mere three weeks old, unable to care for herself. Thoa had experience rescuing animals, so they tended to the “malnourished, lethargic and dying” wee one.

She didn’t want to eat but the sisters didn’t give up hope.

“She almost did not make it through the first night, even with round the clock care. Our cute kitten was lethargic and limp.”

They named the kitty Rosie and quickly bonded with her. But how could they get her to eat?

Thoa called in backup in the form of her Siberian husky Lilo. Beautiful Lilo cautiously approached the ailing kitten who latched on to the large dog instantly.

In fact, she refused to leave her brand new buddy’s side.

“We took a chance and put her with Lilo, and Lilo really saved her life.”

It was incredible to watch Lilo’s maternal instinct kick in. She intuitively knew that Rosie’s life hung in the balance and that she truly, deeply needed Lilo to rescue her.

“She cuddled her and comforted her until she was better and ready to finally drink from a bottle.”

One time, Rosie attempted to nurse off Lilo, but that wasn’t about to happen. She wasn’t equipped.

But it proved that Rosie looked up to Lilo as her momma, a bond the baby needed in order to live.

“Lilo has never had puppies of her own, and never will. But motherhood may just be her calling.”

But Lilo wasn’t the only pup in the pack. Infinity and Miko were her buds and Infinity lived in the home with Lilo.

Would they all accept Rosie?

Thank goodness they did! It didn’t take long before all three huskies began nurturing Rosie and boosting her along. It was exactly what Rosie needed.

But eventually, Rosie picked up some intriguing habits and behaviors. She clearly let everyone know that she didn’t like being left behind when the dogs were taken for walks.

So one day, Thoa’s sisters suggested she tag along. Her response had them cracking up.

“You’re crazy, we’re going to look ridiculous.”

But Rosie stayed with the pack and kept up with her favorite dogs. From that point on, she was never left behind.

“Basically, whatever we do with the dogs, we bring Rosie along. We go on a lot of road trips, and we recently took Rosie kayaking and paddle-boating with us. They sleep together, they walk together, we all go for hikes together.”

In all honesty, the sisters had no intention of keeping Rosie and instead had planned to find her a furever home. But the little dolly bonded so tightly with Lilo that they couldn’t bear the thought of separating them, especially since she now considered herself one of the pack.

“She thinks she’s more a dog than anything.”

In fact, Rosie doesn’t use a litter box. She goes to the bathroom outdoors just like her canine buddies.

What’s even sweeter is that Rosie has become the perfect foster mom to other kittens the sisters have brought in to rehabilitate. The dogs love them, too!

Rosie had the purrfect role model in her own dog-mom to show her the way.

“She has never had a litter of her own, or any milk to give, she is as motherly as they come. We are so proud of her!!”

Rosie’s attachment to her husky family may seem strange, but it’s a relationship that ultimately saved her life and allowed her to play a role in helping save others. What a heartwarming story!
