Introducing a baby pet to your fur family is quite wonderful. You could witness how well your other pets would react to their newest member, and it sometimes turns out to be the sweetest thing in the world.
These bunnies met this Golden Retriever for the first time.
Bunnies are one of the most adorable creatures that hop through our world. Their long ears and their cute little snoot will always make you smile. Their cuteness is boundless but none can top this video’s level of adorable.
In this video, 22-day-old bunnies were introduced to a gentle giant named Bailey. He is a Golden Retriever with a cream-colored fur. He was just laying on his owner’s bed, and his owner placed the bunnies one by one near the dog.
The bunnies were never afraid of the big dog; instead, they saw him as their dad.
It is amazing how the bunnies immediately accepted him as their dad and they just started scooching over Bailey’s warm fur. Bailey also did not mind the bunnies hopping around or lying beside him. He just accepted them all.
Bailey’s golden heart enabled these little bunnies to feel safe and comfortable around him. Every bunny felt at ease with his gentle presence, and there is no question that these bunnies were drawn by Bailey’s paternal aura.
The bunnies also met another friend.
After a while, another pet landed on the bed where Bailey and the bunnies were chilling. It was a little budge named Sky. The bunnies got along with Sky easily as well, and the curious bird was just eyeing them around as they hopped to places.
What a wholesome video indeed. The owner posted the video on their YouTube channel, This is Bailey. In just over a week, the video received more than 6.7 million views. This clip was one of the sweetest things on the internet today.
Of course, a lot of people loved the video. There was plenty of positive feedback from people, and they also shared hilarious comments about Bailey and the bunnies. The top commenter wrote,
“These are weird little dogs, but I guess they’re mine now.”
An unlikely bond is formed.
Animal friendship is indeed the purest thing in the world. However, nothing beats the friendship between two different species. From cats and dogs to other unexpected pairs, their bond is something special.
According to Jenny Holland, who wrote the 2011 book Unlikely Friendships, adoptions are commonly observed among domestic animals. This happens because animals would instinctively act to take care of the young to help them survive. Therefore, whether it is a small kitten or an adorable pup, some animals would be obliged to take care of them.
