You wouldn’t think a dog of this size could have such explosive energy. The diminutive French Bulldog may look funny but that compact body is a highly tuned engine running on race fuel. Just look at this little guy!
Jude may be “French” by blood but he lives in the UK. The heat wave has been getting to everybody so naturally, Jude’s owner bought an inflatable pool so they can cool off when the heat becomes unbearable. Jude’s even got a towel.
Who doesn’t like a good swimming pool?
The little Frenchie can’t contain himself. He runs around the pool, pauses for a bit, and with some encouragement from his human, the short legged wonder leaps like a frog in to the water and in one motion, bounces back out. Like a pogo stick!
How on earth is that possible?
His owner looks at the Bulldog and tells him to go again. Jude races around the pool, jumping back in and out in one motion almost like he’s just bouncing off the surface of the water. And for good measure, he does it again, the illusion still the same as the first time. How??
On the third lap, Jude jumps back in to the pool but this time stays in, splashing around and even drinking the water.
A viewer says,
“That pool must be filled with spring water.”
It is highly possible. Who knows what kind of magical water that is.
Another viewer was on point,
“I love how French bulldogs are either very lazy or just whacked out of their minds.”
Jude splashes around a bit, just enjoying the feeling of cooling down in the water. That is until his energy levels were recharged. He leaps out of the pool again giving his human a look before basking in the sun. We know the feeling, Jude.
French Bulldogs make for great companions.
This is a very playful dog as you can see with Jude. Playful and smart are some of the traits associated with this breed. And with a face like that, who can resist them? The heavy wrinkles, short nose, and square-ish head are all about alertness. They are muscular and compact meaning that smaller frame is like a bomb just waiting to explode any second.
Don’t be fooled though. French Bulldogs make excellent watchdogs. They put that alertness to good use. Hey Jude, don’t make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better… I mean Jude is English now. Technically.
This breed became a must have for the fancy ladies who would stroll Paris in the evenings.
Look at Jude’s face. That is just one very awake dog! One wonders if he has English tea or French coffee. How does he have so much energy in the heat? His owner can be seen just laying back, soaking up the sun, but the dog is just restless. Glad he’s enjoying the pool!
