Dog trainer and America’s Got Talent season 12 alum, Sara Carson Devine, shared an adorable video of her very first dance as a married woman. The dance warmed hearts all over the world and quickly went viral for one very special reason. Her dance partner was not her new husband, but her dog, Hero.

Sara is known for her routines alongside her dog Hero the border collie. The pair were featured on America’s Got Talent and wowed the judges with their impressive stunts and tricks. They finished in fifth place.

They have traveled the world together.

Before tying the knot with her new husband, John Devine, Sara and Hero took their show on the road. She is considered one of the best trick dog trainers in the world. She has also captivated audiences on AGT’s spin-off “The Champions.”

Hero is part of Sara’s group, “The Super Collies.”

Some of the impressive moves that made their act famous on AGT were also on display during the wedding dance. Guests were treated to quite a show and Hero did not disappoint.

Sara knew she had to include Hero.

While most new brides choose to dance with their significant other, Sara made a point to include her best pal Hero. Luckily for her, Sara’s new husband John is also a dog trainer and was more than happy to let the dog take his place. They share the same love and respect for their dogs and by the look on Hero’s face in the video, the feeling is mutual. Happy dog, happy life right?

The song she chose for the special performance was “Footloose.” The new bride was proud of Hero for following her commands on the fly. Sara told fans online that they didn’t even rehearse their dance together. Hero knew exactly what to do just by watching her cues and signals. This dog is a natural. Good doggy!
