While humans and dogs are entirely different breeds, there’s actually a lot of similarities between the two. Both know how to show affection, enjoy life, play, and get excited when meeting someone or something new. A woman got to see all of that and more when she introduced a new friend to her Boxer.
The Boxer dog breed
Not only is the Boxer beautiful but it also has an incredible personality. This breed is known for being playful and almost always happy. It’s also extremely patient and protective when necessary, making it ideal for people with kids. Overall, it’s hard to beat this particular dog breed.

In a video that’s received more than 50,000 views, along with multiple positive comments, a Boxer makes a discovery. Watching this pup’s reaction is both sweet and hilarious. In the video, you get a peek at just how great the breed is.
The mysterious box
It starts when the Boxer’s human mom walks into the house with a box. Curious, her dog follows close behind. Although she has no clue what it contains, she’s pretty sure it’s something awesome…and she’s right.
A surprise
Giving the box her full attention, the Boxer can’t wait to see what her owner brought home. While she smells something familiar, she hasn’t yet spotted the little head poking out. But then, her owner sets the box on the floor.
An adorable puppy
But this isn’t just any puppy. It’s another Boxer. By the looks of it, the baby is about two to three months old. At this point, the big dog becomes increasingly more excited.
Meeting for the first time
Without hesitation, the larger dog goes in for a closer inspection. And without any fear, the puppy does the same. Within seconds, they’re nose to nose. This just melts your heart.
Oops
The puppy is eager to explore. So, while trying to poke his head out of the box further, it falls over and the little one spills onto the carpet. Now, they can really get to know one another. Immediately, you notice the big Boxer seems to be protective over the puppy.
Fast friends
That’s when the puppy walks behind the large dog and then comes up to her side. They both have their tails wagging just as fast as they can go. Then, the adult pup does something extra sweet. She leans in as if to nuzzle the baby.
Playtime
Being so young, the puppy makes it clear that he wants to play. He jumps up on the big dog. But rather than run away, she’s loving every second of the baby’s attention.
Personality galore
For several seconds, the puppy walks around the room with his big sister tagging along. But then the funniest thing happens. The little one decides he wants to get back inside the box. So, he jumps with all his might only to get stuck on the edge.
True love
From the minute the two laid eyes on each other, they fell in love. It’s the most adorable thing ever. As you can imagine, the puppy has a lot of energy. But even so, the adult Boxer is so patient. With this much personality in the house, the owner is in for a lot of laughs.
