Our pets can become pretty territorial and attached to someplace where they spent a lot of time. Just like some humans, dogs don’t like it when they have to leave their favorite place!
This boxer was not happy she had to leave neighbor’s house and you won’t believe what she did to demonstrate her displeasure!
Daisy May has a fierce temper and is not afraid to show it
When you look at her, you’d think that Daisy May is just like any other boxer but she has one heck of a personality! She’s a rather willful dog who’s not very fond of rules! In fact, Daisy May likes to skirt the rules whenever she can!
“You know you’re not supposed to be in here, right?” Daisy’s keeper asks her inside the car. “You come over here every day, this isn’t your house!”
However, that didn’t seem to worry Daisy May! Not one bit! We can see her whine and sigh as if she’s trying to tell everyone that she’s quite comfortable where she is and has no wish to be elsewhere!
“You didn’t say home with Mac he’s your friend,” we hear another woman say, to which Daisy May lets out a long, sad groan.
The science behind dog behavior may explain why some dogs don’t feel confident outside
Dogs are much more attentive to their environment than us humans. While humans have around 5 million olfactory receptors in their nose, dogs have a staggering 220 million receptors! Dogs also have a much powerful sense of smell and their ears can detect sounds in the ultrasonic range.
Some dogs may become very insecure when they find themselves outside, especially if they usually spend a lot of time inside. Just like us, dogs develop habits and often adopt habits from their owners!
Mac? Who’s Mac?
“You’re supposed to be home with Mac, you leave him there by yourself all the time every day!” says Daisy’s keeper, “and we have to come get you when it’s time to eat dinner. Daisy! I’m talking to you!”
Daisy doesn’t seem to take kindly to being chastised, so she turns away from her keeper and lies down on the backseat! She refuses to sit down and groans indistinctively, unwilling to cooperate with her keeper.
“You leave Mac alone by himself and then you get mad at us when we come get you! Why don’t you like staying home?”
Daisy’s groaning intensifies as if something’s troubling her or she simply can’t make up her mind about what to do. She then starts throwing her head back and when she does it’s like she’s rolling her eyes at her mom. In fact, viewers agree, saying,
“This dog straight up rolling her eyes to the back of her head, shaking her head back and forth, and telling you what’s on her miiind 😂😂 what a personality!! Love it ahahaha you can’t teach a dog these cute things 😂😂”
Should I stay or should I go?
We admit it’s hard to get to the bottom of the mystery behind Daisy’s adamant refusal to stay home with Mac but here’s our best guess: Daisy has a secret friend at the neighbor’s with whom she’s probably in love! When we’re in love, rules go out of the window and we only follow our hearts.
“We like it when you’re home! We miss you!” Daisy’s keeper says and tells her that they have to cook her dinner.
Instead of an apology, Daisy lets out a loud bark and a whimper! This is Daisy’s way of saying ‘Whatever! Leave me be!” She sure has an attitude problem!
