Puppy Won’t Give Up Trying To Play With Baby On Bed
There will be no shortage of entertainment for this baby girl. :)

When a new baby is brought home life changes for the entire family, including the dog. There’s a new unpredictable schedule, loud noises, interesting smells, and Fido might get a little less attention than he’d grown accustomed to. But, a new baby also means that your dog will be gaining a new best friend too!

Life can be more fun for a dog when there’s a kid in the house (and vice versa). In addition to all the extra snacks and cuddles, it means there’s always someone to play with that has just as much energy as they do. Really, it’s no wonder why kids and dogs go together like peanut butter and jelly!

There’s an adorable video online that shows one dog’s excitement about having a new “playmate” in the house.

In the video, a baby girl is relaxing in the middle of a large bed. Although it doesn’t seem like much is going on, wait for it…

Only a moment in, a small white dog pops up from the side to see his friend! He has a ball in his mouth and looks happy as can be. It’s as if he’s saying, “Come play! Come Play!

The pooch isn’t big enough to reach his “baby sister” on the tall bed, but that doesn’t stop him from trying.

Like a tiny kangaroo with a fully-charged battery, he jumps up to see the infant over, and over, and over again! His persistence is quite impressive and super-cute too. If only he had just a little bit more height (or a step stool), surely he’d be covering his buddy with kisses.

Why hello there.

The baby watches the person behind the camera and doesn’t pay much attention to the dog trying to hop up on the bed. Surely he’s thinking, “Come on kid, toss me the ball!

Finally, after numerous jumps, she shifts her focus to her fuzzy friend who’s like the best Jack-in-the-box ever. Seriously, who needs toys when you have a happy, bouncy dog like that?

Wait, I need a break.

After many, many jumps the dog stops and just stares up at his baby sister. Even though the girl doesn’t do anything but watch the dog, one viewer pointed out:

“When that baby’s a little older, she’s going to be laughing her head off at the dog doing this. <3”

It’s only a short break though.

After just a couple of moments, the dog starts up again! It seems like he really wants to play with the baby and probably wants his ball back too. Another viewer had a different idea though. Perhaps the dog just needed a good workout?

“I like to believe the dog was intentionally exercising. ;-) It seems as if it was doing to serious reps.”

Someone else commented:

“I had to laugh so hard it was hard to keep quiet at the workfloor ;D”

Is he trying for a record?

The dog hops up dozens of times in less than a minute, which should earn him some kind of medal. The following pooches are pretty awesome too…

A canine named Geronimo holds the Guinness World Record for “the most jump-rope skips by a dog in one minute” with 91 skips. As for the “highest jump,” that record is held by a Greyhound named Feather who hit 75.5 inches! Maybe she can pass the pooch in the video some tips?
