We humans tend to downplay our accomplishments. We’ll say, “Oh, it wasn’t too big a deal.” Or, “I just got lucky.” But three-year-old Border Collie Kirk isn’t here for that. When this adorable girl won first place in a tough agility competition, she was proud of her win, and she wasn’t afraid to let everyone know it!
Kirk and her owner, Channan Fosty, have been a staple on the agility championship circuit for two years. During that time, Kirk has only gotten better and better. In 2016, Kirk won two big championships: the Steeplechase Finals and the Grand Prix at the USDAA Nationals. The dog moves at incredible speeds, and she jumps over hurdles with ease.
In 2017, Kirk won the renowned Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge. Afterward, Kirk and Channan watched the competition on TV.
Channan shared an adorable video of Kirk reacting to her win on her YouTube page. The video shows Kirk jumping up and down for joy as she watches herself run through the agility course.
As Kirk watches herself expertly weave through poles, jump over hurdles, and run through tunnels, she can’t contain her excitement. Her tail wags a mile a minute, and she jumps so high she seems to defy gravity. This pup loves watching herself win, and we love her for it!
This adorable of Kirk winning quickly went viral. Thousands of people watched the video on Channan’s YouTube channel, and it was also shared on Reddit.
On Reddit, many people wondered what was going through Kirk’s mind as she watched herself watching the competition.
A few other Redditors pointed out that it appears like Kirk is mimicking what she sees on screen—what a smart dog!
The video also went massively viral on Twitter—it’s been viewed over 1.9 million times!
People on Twitter also tried to decide what was going through Kirk’s head as she watched. Many people think that she was saying, “Go me! Go me!”

Today, Kirk is still competing, and she still loves it!
Most recently, Kirk took part in the 2018 UKI West Coast Biathlon Agility Cup. This dog clearly has a passion for running agility courses, and she has tons of talent too.
