Sometimes, it’s hard to pick the best present for someone, especially when it’s your beloved family member. The best present would probably be something that a person could cherish for a long time, and for this mom, it’s a pet.
This family knows what’s the best Christmas present for their mother.
Christmas is an annual celebration where families spend time together no matter how far they usually are apart.
It’s a special time where families reunite and spend time together under one roof.
The Nguyen family was spending theirs at their home.
Son Nguyen and his family were celebrating Christmas, and they already have prepared gifts for each other.
Nguyen had a gift idea for his mom, and he thought that it would be the perfect Christmas gift for her. Of course, their mom had no idea of what the gift was and so she was excited as the rest of the family were.
Mom opened her gift and she was so happy to see what was inside it.
Nguyen brought out a shoebox, and you could clearly see that it’s shaking as if there is something moving inside. As Nguyen’s mom received the gift, she then slowly lifted the box’s cover only to see a black cat waiting for her inside.
She was astonished to see the cat’s head springing out of the box, and then she smiled widely as she tightly hugged the confused cat. You could hear their mom sniffling with joy as she wrapped her arms around the cat.
The mom was so moved by the gift that she couldn’t stop smiling the whole time she held the confused black cat. The cat felt uneasy at first, but after feeling mom’s gentle pats and hugs, the little cat immediately felt comfort. In fact, it even moved to lie on her lap as if wanting to be petted some more.
The Nguyen family shared the wholesome Christmas clip on the internet.
Son Nguyen decided to share his mom’s happiness on the internet. Surprisingly, the clip attracted a lot of attention and has already been viewed for more than 27 million times.
In June 2020, Nguyen came back to his video to share the unfortunate news of his mom passing away. Although this is devastating, he assured everyone that the cat is doing fine while also missing their mom every day.
Surely, even with the short time that Nguyen’s mom spent with the cat, she was more than happy to be with her.
It’s always great to have a new family member at home.
A pet as a gift is great for everyone.
It isn’t only kids who wish for a pet as a gift, but even adults could wish for one too! It is obvious on how this grandma was delighted after seeing that her son got her a cat.
Perhaps, it is her way of having company while her kids aren’t home. The house would never be lonely with an adorable pet with you after all.
