Bears are humongous powerful apex predators and a close encounter with one is something you wouldn’t want to happen.

With their size and brute strength, even the world’s strongest men do not stand a chance against them.

Even so, they like their “down time”.

They are found in sixty countries primarily in the Northern Hemisphere and are concentrated in Asia, North America, and Europe.

Their usual habitats are usually in forests, mountains, tundra, deserts, and grassy areas.

That’s why it’s really rare to see them in residential and populous areas, but when they decide to visit people, it’s either scary or an adorable sight.

This bear is particularly “laid-back”.

Just recently in Reno, Nevada, residents were puzzled when their pond started getting emptied.

Then one evening, with the help of a security camera, they finally discovered who the culprit was and it was none other than a bear.

He wasn’t on the prowl, though.

The self-pampering bear has been using the pond for its midnight dips and it looked like he was loving his “me time” by plunging his huge body into the water.

I mean, who wouldn’t love a quick dip on a cold evening?

Some bears are also known to be nocturnal and it pretty much explains why this big furry beast was out at night to forage for food and relaxation.

This isn’t his only stop, either.

Turns out, the wandering bear also goes to a neighbor’s vineyard to gobble in some grapes for snacks.

Snacks after a midnight dip? Yes, please.

Although it wasn’t clear yet if the owner of the vineyard also noticed it, the bear has been doing it before his midnight dips on the pond. What a clever big boy

Could there be a shortage of food in his natural habitat? I guess we will never know.

What matters the most is that the bear isn’t hurting anyone during his evening escapades in the city.

All he wanted to do was to pamper himself with the simple things that we humans have.

Of course, a nap is in order.

This clever apex predator was also seen napping while he was soaked in water.

His way down to the city must’ve been tiring that’s why this big guy decided to take a nap.

We can’t blame him, the best thing to do after snacking some grapes and dipping into the pond is to doze off, wouldn’t you agree?

The bear obviously knows something about self-love.

The bear may seem harmless from the CCTV footage but they still pose a threat.

Bears are cute and irresistible when they are just stuffed with cotton, you know what I mean.

However, they’re extremely dangerous in real life, even a tamed bear could snap and attack anyone close to it on a whim.

Cute as he is, be warned.

That’s why authorities still warn the public to stay away from bears.

There are also signs on the forests warning people about areas where bears are usually seen, in short areas they consider their territory.

This bear needs its R&R.

The National Park Service listed down the things that you should do during an encounter with a bear.

If you reside in areas where bears are often seen, it’s important to know these things so make sure to check them out.
