Some people think that animals lack personality. They see a dog or a cat and they think it’s just like any other dog or cat out there. But true animal lovers and long-term pet owners know that every animal is different.
They’re all unique, with their own habits, quirks, likes, and dislikes, and this is especially true when it comes to dogs.
You can find dogs that are totally different to one another. Some of them spend their days lazing about by the fire, never showing much interest in playing fetch or chasing squirrels, while others are little fluffy bags of energy. Some dogs love to watch TV, some dogs like to go on car rides and put their heads out of the window. And apparently, some of them like reggaeton too!
A woman named Wendy Berenguer has shared a video of her dog dancing along with her mom in the kitchen while a reggaeton track plays in the background. The hilarious and heartwarming clip begins with the dog, named Bailey, sitting on his hind legs, shaking, twisting, and moving to the beat.
He doesn’t even notice Wendy, standing with the camera right behind him and filming the action. Moments later, he does turn around and spot his owner, but he doesn’t let her appearance interrupt his groove!
He carries on dancing along with the grandma, happily wiggling his paws around and moving rhythmically from side to side.
It’s amazing to see this little dog move! He just can’t get enough of that funky beat.
Neither can Wendy’s mom, who moves alongside Bailey while the music plays until eventually dropping her hands to her knees and almost collapsing with laughter at the sight of the beat-loving Beagle.
For those who don’t know, reggaeton is a type of Puerto Rican music that originated back in the 1990s and blends influences of Latin American, hip hop, and Caribbean musical styles.
It’s the sort of music that makes you want to nod your head, tap your feet, and dance along, and apparently, even dogs can’t resist the best reggaeton beats! Little Bailey can’t seem to get enough of the tune, rocking from side to side and swaying in time with the music.
We’re so glad that Wendy managed to capture this magical moment on camera and upload it to her Facebook account. Countless people have seen the clip already, and it’s had over a million shares and hundreds of thousands of comments and likes too.
Many of the top comments talk about how cute little Bailey is, with some users even joking that this dancing beagle is officially their ‘spirit animal’ now.
