When baby goats got their first glimpse of a barn chicken, their minds were blown and they couldn’t stop fainting.

You will definitely have a hay day watching this adorable video.

Ever hear about fainting goats?

Yes, they’re real and yes, they faint.

They are a breed of goat that has a genetic defect that makes them faint whenever they are startled.

They’re also called myotonic goats.

They were originally bred to make it easier for people to catch the animals, but now many owners keep them as pets for their unique traits and personalities.

The goats are born with this defect, and it only becomes apparent when they’re startled by something, which could be anything from loud noise to sudden movement in front of them.

And then they will faint.

When this happens, the goat will drop down on its knees, fall over onto its side, lose consciousness for several seconds (this is called myotonia congenita).

They wake up 20 seconds later.

The same mutation is also linked to the human disorder called cataplexy.

In humans, cataplexy can cause your muscles to suddenly become weak and feel heavy, making it hard for you to move or talk.

The baby goats’ version is “fainting.”

Goats are social and curious animals.

Goats are playful and intelligent animals that love to play games such as tag with their human companions.

Goats also have a strong sense of curiosity about their surroundings.

They will often investigate objects, animals, and people they encounter for the first time.

These animals are true explorers.

If you want your baby fainting goats to thrive and be happy, it’s important that you provide them with ample opportunity for exploration and playtime.

Then, there are barn chickens.

Barn chickens are also curious, playful, smart, and independent.

They can be taught to come when called and are loyal to their owners.

Goats and chickens get along well.

Although goats and chickens do not naturally live together, they can be taught to get along with each other when raised together from a young age.

They can learn that they’re friends and therefore shouldn’t fight with each other. But, even that takes some time.

From running and jumping all over the place, they suddenly gathered together and stared at the chicken upon her arrival.

They were stunned and shocked at that small thing.

Even viewers were amused.

“Haha! They act so tough but are so afraid of the chicken,” one commenter wrote. “Baby goats are the cutest animals. Their little sideways jumping!”

They may be quite shocked for now, but we are sure that given some time, they will all be the best of friends.
