Animals do not talk, but that does not mean they cannot communicate.

And if domesticated animals like pet dogs and cats can show their emotions through touch, even wild animals can do the same.

As it turned out, the man being hugged by the young elephant is not just any man.

He is the person who saved the young wild animal’s life from grave danger.

His compassion for the elephant did not end there. Aside from keeping him alive and away from harm, this forest ranger is the same person who reunited the calf with its elephant mom.

He belongs to the Forestry Services and took care of the forests in Mangal, Tamil Nadu, India.

There is always a tendency that they get separated from each other as they flee for safety.

In these kinds of situations, forest rangers are ready to give a helping hand and save the animals from fatality.

They also help in making sure that the young are reconnected to their parents.

In one of the forestry service team’s patrol, they found this young elephant alone in the jungle, his mother nowhere in sight.
