If you’ve got kids and a dog in the house, then you should be prepared to rarely have peace and quiet for a long while. Anyone with those two things will tell you that.
But it’s the things we do for love, right?
It’s been said that dog breeds come in all shapes and sizes, but one letter “S” quality that people rarely mention is “Sounds”. You can choose from barky, yappy, howling or all of the above. This household here has a Beagle, which means lots of howling and barking as long as it’s indoors.
You may have known already, but Beagles are notoriously restless dogs. So what exactly are we going to get when a toddler, a beagle, and some instruments are thrown into the same room?
I don’t know, but probably best to cover your ears.
Dragging an electronic children’s guitar along, this little girl probably has a show rehearsed for us. If only she can stop accidentally hitting stuff with her guitar. She gets it eventually, though.
And with a push of a button, the show starts. When that sweet, battery-powered guitar riff starts, all she can do is dance and bop to it. But she needs backing instrumentals too!
And luckily, she’s got a pianist with her. No one’s making any promises about how good he is, though.
Up the keys he goes, and though he might not know that many chords, he’s definitely trying. Now their dad gets to enjoy a free concert from the comfort of his own home. Beagle on the keys and baby on the buttons.
When he sung the words “Awooooooo”, I really felt that.
From start to finish, the girl is swaying her hips like nobody’s business. We’ve all had music just take control away from us, and how nice of her to experience the same thing as such a young age.
Even when the little girl has to inspect her instrument for a bit (need to tune it, I guess?), the Beagle isn’t stopping. He’s feeling that piano music like Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys and Freddie Mercury. I can’t make out the lyrics at all, but I’m sure they’re heartfelt and well-written from the looks of it.
So where’s their Spotify? Are they on Vevo?
But all good things must come to an end, and after no less than 2 minutes, the mini concert is over. I hope their knuckles and fingertips don’t hurt. I know how rough instruments can be on the hands after an intense jamming session.
I don’t think they’re getting any royalties or record deals from this.
Thankfully, they got something even better – some snacks from their dad! Performing can make anyone hungry.
He hands a treat to the Beagle, who did such a fantastic job on the piano. And eagerly waiting for her snack is his little girl too, who does get one. Great show, everyone!
This duo’s indoor jam shouldn’t be missed by anyone, so scroll down and watch the video yourself. Don’t forget to share this article too!
