You’re probably on this channel because you love animals. Well, sometimes certain animals should be loved from afar!

Bears are one of them!

Imagine being at home and getting ready for bed. Better yet, imagine that you are in bed. However, you hear someone, or something, meddling on your deck.

You wake up to see a bear cub having a blast at the expense of your rest!

That’s exactly what happened to Sumer Walser Williams and her family one early morning.

Williams was awoken by a bear cub and its mother at 4 am. She recorded and shared some of the experience on her Facebook page.

According to the caption, the cub was in the pool, ate from the birdseed feeder, scaled the 15-foot fence, and popped her daughters’ blowup pool.

Yikes! It sounds like an eventful night.

But it doesn’t end there. The cub’s mother came to get the little cub off of the homeowner’s deck.

Williams’ added a comedic element to her Facebook caption writing that if mama bear could talk, she would likely say the following:

“Let’s go, I have told you a hundred times not to bother people while we’re raiding their house for goodies. We have to be silent. I’ve told you this. Why can’t you seem to listen? I had to climb 15 feet up a pole to rescue your little butt. Get off their deck now.”

The video is pretty hilarious. The cub looks a bit confused at the beginning as its mother eventually comes onto the deck.

When the video starts, the cub stands on two legs in front of the glass door. A dog can be heard barking as the cub seems to hear the dog sounding the alarm.

However, instead of running off, the cub becomes more amused as it approaches the door and places its paw on the glass.

It only becomes more intriguing when suddenly its mother climbs onto the deck and attempts to gather her cub.

Of course, Williams’ voice can be heard in the background as she expresses her astonishment when the full grown mama bear climbs the fence of the deck.

What happens next is what led Williams to write the aforementioned caption.

The bear grabs her cub and seemingly considers leaving the way in which they entered โ€” down the 15-foot fence.

But the mama bear decides to find another way out after looking over the fence and seeing the distance.

Instead, the two walk off the deck like regular guests.

Typically, black bear cubs stay with their mother until they are one-years-old. Clearly, this cub is still in the care of its mother.

Though the idea that black bear mothers will fight to the death to defend her cubs has recently proven to be a myth. It’s always best to admire cubs from a distance, even if they do come to you.

After all, admiring these adorable cubs from afar isn’t so bad after all…

Even if they do destroy your kids’ pool!
