Don’t deny it. Although dogs are perfect, there are times when we find ourselves comparing them with each other. And honestly, it’s quite fun.
Rating dogs, however, doesn’t mean choosing one breed or color over another. Because clearly, dogs will always have a perfect score for us. We even give most of them scores beyond 10.
A man named Matt Nelson made rating dogs simpler for the people on the internet. He’s made a Twitter account where dog lovers can browse dog photos and leave their scores.
If you are a fan of dogs, here are 50 of the most popular and most adorable dog photos on WeRateDogs’ Twitter account.
1. Looking for a friend
Honestly, there’s no reason for this guy to be shy at all. He looks wrinkly, yes. But overall, he’s super adorable!
This is Tonka. It’s his first time at the park and he’s a little shy. Was wondering if you’d be his friend. 12/10 I’ve never wanted anything so bad pic.twitter.com/t1RkfxCEfd

2. Oh, bless this dog!
This dog serves as a great reminder to always be thankful even for the smallest things that you have in life. He’s such a sweet soul!

4. Not your average dog
I don’t think it’s really a meteorite. It looks more like Superman’s dog. He’s more popularly known as Super Dog.
We only rate dogs. This is a meteorite that has fallen from a clearly superior part of the galaxy. Please only send dogs. Thank you… 14/10 pic.twitter.com/vSNrzKRwDT

5. Too precious
She’s definitely a queen and a queen deserves a grand celebration. She’s a 20/10, definitely.
This is August. She was born on April 24, 2000. That’s right, she just turned 20, making her the oldest known golden retriever in the world. She’s received so many good girl noggin pats over the years her color has been rubbed off. We’re giving Augie the incredibly rare… 15/10 pic.twitter.com/6QMNNn3aqA

This isn’t a ferocious polar bear. It’s just a really hungry doggo begging for treats and attention. I’d let him inside my house in a heartbeat!
We only rate dogs. Please don’t submit Suburban Porch Polar Bears. They mean no harm. Just a little hungry. Thank you… 13/10 pic.twitter.com/AS9ybCN5z6

7. The best of friends
The pup and the bird pup. It’s hard to rate these two dogs. Clearly, they deserve a score higher than 13/10. Just look at how they stare at each other. It’s just pure love.
This is Ingo and Poldi. They’ve been best buds since they met. Now they do everything together. 13/10 for both pups pic.twitter.com/AYk5zmhKHg

— WeRateDogs® (@dog_rates) April 6, 2020
9. His unique set of friends
The way he’s able to connect with them is amusing. He must have been a fawn in his past life.
This is Sarge. He helps save injured and orphaned wildlife in his area. I’m told he loves all animals, but gets the most attached to fawns. 14/10 good boy Sarge pic.twitter.com/Zlv65hDxxE

These are dogs that look like horses… or is it the other way around? They look so majestic that it’s hard to figure out. Well, they’re beautiful and that’s all that matters, right?
We only rate dogs. These are perfectly synchronized wild horses. Please learn the difference. Thank you… both 13/10 pic.twitter.com/hfsisQohet

— WeRateDogs® (@dog_rates) March 26, 2020
14. What dog?
This submission is quite weird. This is a collection of dog photos the internet was asked to rate. However, for some reason, someone sent a picture of an empty bed.
Unbelievable. Why would someone send us a photo without a dog in it? We work way too hard to be this disrespected. Please send dogs. Thank you… 12/10 pic.twitter.com/FsmS10fkjD
— WeRateDogs® (@dog_rates) May 8, 2020
15. Land doggo and sea doggo
These friends may not spend as much time together as other friends but they don’t mind. As long as they can see and greet each other, they’re good.

— WeRateDogs® (@dog_rates) April 22, 2020

There’s really no need to rush the process. He’ll be able to figure it out. We just have to let him take a nap first.
This is Jaeger. He tried to get up the step. He really did. Does not want your help. Just gonna take a nap and figure it out later. 12/10 pic.twitter.com/8d7PmLwD69

— WeRateDogs® (@dog_rates) August 21, 2020
26. Her only job
Most dogs feel responsible for protecting their property. Others put their lives on the line just to ensure their humans’ safety. In Julie’s case? It’s keeping the tower upright.
This is Julie. She’s the only thing keeping the tower from falling. Not sure why it’s her responsibility, but she doesn’t mind. 14/10 pic.twitter.com/JgKX0PLXP5
— WeRateDogs® (@dog_rates) November 11, 2020
27. Sweet frog on the road
Frogs aren’t supposed to be on this list. However, since this one’s cute, we’ll probably just pretend that he’s a doggo.

31. Your friendly neighborhood dog
It’s probably time for Meeko to look for another job. Clearly, he’s not fit for this work. With the way he’s smiling, there’s no way he’ll be able to scare away potential intruders.
This is Meeko. He’s supposed to be a guard dog. Incredibly bad at it. Hasn’t scared a single person away. 13/10 would noggin pat through the fence pic.twitter.com/GsukncAqfq

35. A serious talk
Human kids aren’t the only ones who get in trouble for misbehaving at school. The same thing happens to little doggos for not being the best dogs at school.
This is Cooper and his son, Walter. Cooper got called down to puppy school because Walter wrote “heck” on the whiteboard. That language will not be tolerated and it’s safe to say Cooper is appalled. Still 12/10 for both pic.twitter.com/kai9NEYbzD

— WeRateDogs® (@dog_rates) June 16, 2020
38. Getting a brother
We can’t blame Stitch for feeling that way at first. He was so used to being the only kid at home. After seeing Hulk, he now enjoys being a brother than an only child at home.
This is Hulk and Stitch. Stitch was not a fan of acquiring a little brother. Now they won’t stop cuddling. Both 13/10 pic.twitter.com/se1GbMg8EB

— WeRateDogs® (@dog_rates) July 30, 2020
43. When the hole’s getting smaller
It won’t be long before she won’t be able to fit in that hole. Her human should start cutting a new one ASAP.

— WeRateDogs® (@dog_rates) September 28, 2020

47. Serious matter
It’s not clear what point this tiny doggo’s trying to make. But since he’s too serious, his human decided to just stop asking.
This is Baloo. He is very serious. Not sure why you’re laughing. His seriousness is not a laughing matter. 14/10 pic.twitter.com/9PJItT9KEO
— WeRateDogs® (@dog_rates) July 28, 2020

50. Can I have one burger, please?
Restaurants need to start making a dedicated take-out booth for doggos. That way, people won’t find them invading their restaurant’s drive-thru.
he has every right to be there. 13/10 https://t.co/F6NM3sdLui
