Cats are notorious for being mischievous creatures who don’t listen very well, but some special cats break the stereotype and do amazing things for their owners. Like this adorable adopted cat, who shows gratitude to her new mom by fetching her slippers every morning and bringing them to her.

Lulu is a very intelligent rescue cat, who makes a gesture to her adoptive mother every morning by doing something unique for her
When this cat-lover adopted the 10-year-old cat 2-years-ago, she never imagined that Lulu would find such a special way to thank her. However, a few months after she rescued her, Lulu noticed that her new owner put her slippers on every morning and did something remarkable. She actually showed up one morning with a slipper in her mouth.
“My mom was surprised, she wore the drool-covered slippers to encourage Lulu.” Lulu’s owner’s daughter, Kayla, told the dodo.

Since Lulu can only fit one slipper in her mouth, she makes 2 trips every morning to get her mom both shoes
That’s right, the smart cat clutches one slipper in her mouth and brings it to her mom, then, shows back up with the other slipper every morning. Kayla didn’t believe her mother at first until she saw it for herself.
“I didn’t believe her until she got it on camera,” said Kayla.
Once Kayla got the extraordinary ritual on video, she uploaded it to Reddit and Lulu quickly went viral
After seeing what Lulu did, Kayla knew she had to show other people the adorable “thank you” she was offering her mother. They even made an Instagram for the brilliant and loving cat, @lulutheslippercat. Lulu’s grown attatched to the slippers as well, even sleeping with them.
“It really seems like she just wants to take care of my mom, since my mom takes such good care of her,” Kayla explained.
Even though Lulu is an older cat with some health issues, Kayla’s mother knew she was the one for her
Kayla tried to encourage her mother to get a kitten, but for some reason, she knew she wanted Lulu and she’s glad she followed her heart. It’s amazing that Lulu is smart enough to bring even one slipper, let alone to go back and fetch the other. The fact that the precious kitty made it an every morning ritual is beyond impressive.

When she adopted Lulu from the shelter, the cat had dreadlocks prompting her new mommy to shave her and let her fur grow back. Now, she has beautiful hair and receives all the love a cat could hope for. It’s no surprise that the videos’ of her fetching the slippers went viral, this would warm anyone’s heart!
