America’s Got Talent is known for exactly what the show is named for; showing unique performances from talented people. In this case, we see super trained cats perform an amazing routine that knocks the socks off of all the judges, including Simon Cowell.
The Savitsky Cats are extremely well-trained cats that stole the show on America’s Got Talent.
The owners of the cats are Maryna and her mom Svetlana, cat trainers from Ukraine. When they tell the judges what they do for a living, Simon Cowell asks how many, and the answer is shocking. They train and own 10 cats and one dog. Talk about commitment!
After introducing themselves and the cats, it’s time to put the cat’s moves to action. Everyone knows cats aren’t exactly an animal that listens to what you say, so hearing someone be a cat trainer sounds nearly impossible.
However, when they get the music going and the cats get in the zone, they make what seems impossible possible.
The cats begin their routine with one of the most iconic songs ever: Also Sprach Zarathustra.
Considering what the cats are about to do will be out of this world, they chose the perfect song to perform their routine. The song they chose was Also Sprach Zarathustra, which you might not find familiar, but it is the opening song to the classic film, 2001 – A Space Odyssey.

The song gives a feeling that something big will happen, and for these cats, routine is spot on. When Marina brings the first cat out, she holds a hula hoop for him to jump through. Simon Cowell’s face looks skeptical if the cat is going to pull through, but he is about to get his mind blown.
After a little hesitation, the orange cat does what he needs to do and jumps through the hoop, impressing Simon Cowell. Then with a hand signal from his trainer, he stands on his hind legs and looks too cute. Here comes the other show-stopping cat, about to do something even more amazing
As the second cat hits the stage, he starts to push a wheel across the stage.
The black and white cat knew exactly what he had to do when he was on stage. With a wheel in front of him, he pushes it across the stage with no hesitation. To finish this part of the routine, he jumps in the wheel, bringing that part to a perfect close.
Then the two talented cats are put together and start jumping over each other, staying in a perfect line; it is absolutely amazing! It’s cool to see what the trainer is doing to make them move like this, and all she is doing is walking next to them with her feet crossing in front of each other.
Now it’s time for the cats to show off their climbing skills, first climbing upside down, impressing the judges and the crowd, but it’s about to get even crazier. Hopping on his hindlegs back to the horizontal poles they are climbing on, he army crawls with just his front legs across the poles, talk about true skill.
The big part of the routine has yet to come, and it’s the moment they’re all waiting for.
Leading up to the most exciting part of the routine, the black cat jumps through a paper ring perfectly, with no hesitation about what was on the other side. This was very impressive but what is about to come is solidifying these cats to go to the next round.
The trainers bring out what looks to be a twenty-one-foot pole that seems to have a cat diving board. They put the cat to the pole, and he climbs the whole thing with ease and sits on the ledge at the very top. With the trainer holding a mat at the bottom, the cat takes one look and goes for it.
The cat lands on the pad perfectly, and the crowd goes wild. These contestants definitely have talent, and we’re going to the next round, rightfully so!
The Savitsky Cats are still in acrobatic action, and you can follow them on Instagram.
These talented cats were quarterfinalists on America’s Got Talent, which is super far, but it seems like these cats should’ve won the show. However, the cats are still in acrobatic action, and if you want to see me of these cats, follow their Instagram, savitskycats.
These cats are also now a part of the Big Apple Circus, so we can really get a chance to see these cats perform live. This is something we’d be willing to spend money on, that’s for sure.
