Upon examining Aasha, Keahey diagnosed her with ringworm, a condition that was later confirmed by a veterinarian.
This diagnosis marked the beginning of Aasha’s journey to recovery, starting with her being placed in an isolated enclosure for treatment.
The treatment process was intensive.
Aasha required daily medication and care, including medicated baths, which she initially detested.
However, her resilience shone through as she gradually adapted to the water, showing significant improvement in her health and well-being.
As Aasha regained her strength and vitality, the next step was to introduce her to other tigers, to see how she would interact.
This led to her meeting Smuggler, a larger male tiger who was immediately smitten with her.
Their connection was undeniable, sparking a new chapter in Aasha’s life.
The staff at In-Sync Exotics closely monitored the budding relationship between Aasha and Smuggler, facilitating a “dating” period to ensure their interactions were safe and positive.
Their careful approach paid off, as the two tigers soon became inseparable, sharing a pen and a deep bond.
Four years on, Aasha and Smuggler’s relationship continues to thrive, a testament to the transformative power of love and care.
