Pitbulls are one of America’s most controversial dog breeds. In a study conducted from 2005 to 2019, there were approximately 521 Americans that were killed by canines and of those deaths, about 66% were committed by Pitbulls. The modern Pit is a descendant of the English Bull-Baiting dog which was bred to tackle and bait large animals such as bears and bulls. Being a victim of abusive animal caretakers can have severe and deep-rooted trauma. In this case, this poor doggo suffered the loss of an eye since he was used as a bait-dog. Thankfully, he was adopted and is now being brought to a lovely home for shelter and protection. It’s a tragedy to see many of these dogs get mistreated. That’s why it’s refreshing to see a success story such as this one.

It gets more and more heart-warming as the pictures roll on. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but you must be flat out blind if you find no beauty in this nugget. His stare is soothing and becalming enough for a breed assumed to be extremely aggressive.

These two pits were jousting with each other in a friendly manner. No violence or accident erupted just, however a strange revelation was presented. It turns out one of the Pits recognized the other Pit as his brother from another litter! The miraculous instance prompted both dogs to be incredibly excited to meet each other. The result was a friendly play date that involved nothing but good vibes and energy from these two lovable pooches.

Baby Bean as they call this handsome fellow is a Pitbull that was also rescued from animal abuse. His friendly behavior was totally unexpected he had just suffered bad treatement from his captors. Nevertheless, this dog did not fight fire with fire and was open to licks and getting to know everyone at the shelter.

On a hot summer day like this one, it’s best to be hydrated and have a plan B. Fortunately for this Pitbull, his master was his backup plan as he began to carry him after giving up on walking due to the intense heat.
