Just like we refuse to act our own age, dogs disregard the fact that they are not puppies anymore. As a matter of fact, the world had seen dogs that just refuse to acknowledge that they have become big. They would always find a way to make us see them as puppies, so we could love them even more.
1. Big dog just wants to have his chair back
Apparently, this Irish Wolfie does not think that he is already big enough to be occupying his chair. Even though when a kid was sitting there, he paid no mind to her and ended up sitting on her instead. Moreover, the little dog seemed to jump in on the chair too.
2. Just casually resting its head
Sometimes, dogs just don’t care about your personal space. It’s sort of okay when they are puppies, but when they have grown to be such big dogs, it is almost annoying to deal with. But who could complain even if a bulldog’s head presses on your head in the morning, right? They are just too adorable.
3. Poor cat
I guess that this snickering dog is just too cruel. I mean look at the poor cat being pressed at the bottom of the dog’s bum. Perhaps it is just the dog’s evil plan or maybe he is just unaware of how big he’s gotten.
4. Just a normal day on the train
Obviously, this one’s very hard to miss especially if you are one of the passengers on this train. This Great Dane is one big woofer and its owner probably had to buy an extra ticket for him to be there. He even sits like every human passenger on board; how cool is that?
5. Switching beds with the cat
I don’t know if this Berner dog still thinks of himself as a puppy or if the cat just took away his bed from him. The cat’s bed is just too small for him that the poor dog is just using it as a pillow while the rest of his body lies on the cold mat. Hopefully, the parents got his bed back for him.
6. Giant dog still loves to be carried like a baby
When our dogs are still pups, we love to carry them all around all the time. However, when they grow up, sometimes it just becomes difficult especially when they are big dog breeds. Although, we cannot say just say no to them, can’t we? Not even this Golden retriever who just wants to be babied all the time.
7. Trying to sit on a park bench
Great Danes just mature as surprisingly gigantic dogs. Also, believe me when I say that most GD owners still get the same astonishment when they see their dog grow up to be huge that they cannot even sit properly on the park bench. I mean, it’s not even called sitting anymore.
8. Time for the lap sits
This dog has never outgrown his love for lap sits. In fact, regardless of how gigantic this Great Dane is, he still goes to sit on his mom’s lap whenever he feels like it. Although, this is one of the qualities of dogs that we would always love.
9. Big smooch for this little bag of bones
A big bulldog is curious about the new human member of the family that he decided to close in with his snoot on the baby’s tiny face. While he goes for a sniff, the dog also left a sweet smooch. Though you got to agree that the photo is captured quite remarkably, capturing both the innocence and the pureness of the dog and the baby.
10. A puppy at heart
We just can’t stop these dogs from acting like puppies, can’t we. This dog remained a lapdog and a unique one at that. This interesting poodle looks like she’s really chillin’ with the way she sits.
11. Just Malamutes occupying a two-person bed
You probably need a way bigger bed or two if you are planning to keep a Malamute. I mean, look at these gigantic house wolves as they occupy their mom’s bed like it’s nothing. What’s even great about it is the fact that their mom is still there lying.
12. This dog grew way too big for his comfort spot
Sometimes, you just cannot outgrow the things you love when you’re younger, just the same with this particular dog. The dog acquired his own favorite spot ever since he was a puppy but somehow, even if the pooch had grown bigger than his favorite spot, he still goes to rest at it, despite looking so uncomfortable.
13. “What is this? A weird squirrel?”
This dog has grown so big that a mini-dachshund just looks like a bigger squirrel to him. Although, you cannot help but wonder whether it’s the Great Dane that’s just too big or the mini doxie is just way too small. Regardless, I hope they were on good terms during that encounter.
14. Never big enough for the bed
This German shepherd still cannot separate himself from his old bed despite his humongous size. He even managed to fit two of his hind legs along with his long snoot. It’s just amazing how he could sleep with a position like that.
15. Big dog wants dad to carry him all day long
Even if they are not puppies anymore, it seems like you are still obligated to carry them like one. For example, this chunky pooch is just loving the thought of having his dad carry him around like a gigantic stuffy. Isn’t the pooch just too adorable?
16. Even if I barely fit, I’d still sit
This corgi loves lying in between the couches, despite that he’s grown up rounder than he was when he was a puppy. Even if he barely could feel the comfort on his spot, the dogs still chose to be there. Perhaps this is just another definition of being a couch potato.
17. A pup at heart
This is not even a lap dog anymore, it’s a face-sitting dog! The dog’s even so proud of it too. I wonder if the dog’s already like this when he was a puppy, or just thinks his mom’s face a comfortable place for his butt.
18. Can’t even fit on the couch anymore
This couch is apparently not for the humans in the house anymore. It became the gigantic Great Dane’s personal bed. So, it’s best to leave him be unless you want to wake him up grumpy.
19. “My bed will always be my bed”
Another pooch who just could not let go of his old bed. He could even barely fit all his limbs inside, let alone his giant butt hanging on the floor. Although, you can tell that he does not like being judged so, stop looking.
20. Still a couch potato
Humans just could not have a space to sit on anymore with big dogs such as this husky, taking over his owner’s chair. Even though he is already big enough for the chair, he does not mind having his legs hang in the air.
21. Gigantic lapdog
No one surely could get work any done with this humongous lapdog. I mean, the dog just straight up consumed every working space for his owner to do his job. If you were in the same situation, would you choose the lapdog or your laptop?
22. Had to get another ticket for this man-dog
This dog’s owner does not want his dog to travel in a crate and so the dog had its own ticket for the seat. Just look at how precious the dog is, sleeping silently while on the airplane.
23. Stuffy on the hamper
Be careful to always check your laundry basket in the case of dogs getting comfortable on them. This big dog does not seem to be aware of how big she is already that she could not even notice that her hind paws are sticking out.
24. Oversized couch cushion
Although it is easy to spot a big dog in the room, perhaps someone has to look twice on the chair so you would not accidentally sit on one. Specifically, what I was talking about is this Irish Wolfhound trying to rest itself on his favorite chair.
25. Lap sitting will never grow old
We just cannot stop lapdogs from being lap dogs, not even if we do not want them to be one when they are all grown and heavy. This Great Dane still loves being the same puppy who could freely sit on someone’s laps, just like this.
26. The same dog after a few weeks
Great Danes grow up ridiculously fast. I mean, no one would expect to have a pup grow up into a gigantic dog in under 16 weeks. Just look at the difference in size! Although, the owner claimed that this GD just grew up only by a little.
27. Humongous potato crushing a human
This Golden retriever is straight-up merciless. Being unaware of his own size, he decides to crush his mom with his giant body. As it is impossible to tell your dogs that they are not puppies anymore, you had to endure all the lap-sitting that they would do even if they have grown bigger than a chair.
28. These man-dogs learned how to ride a bike
I don’t know how, but these dogs seem to know their way around their owner’s bike. Unaware that their gigantic dogs, the two furry dogs positioned themselves on their spots when they were puppies. It would be hard to persuade them to get off as they’re already there.
29. Squirrels!
A dog could never grow old of wanting to chase around squirrels in your yard. The same goes for this giant dog who loves hanging out with his friend, guarding the windows to look at suspicious movements. Look at him so happy!
30. Taking a spoiled husky for a walk
This husky went out for a jog with his owner, but it ended up with him being carried back home. It would be quite easy if he’s a small dog, but he is quite large himself. The panting husky had to hang on his mom’s shoulder all the way home.
31. Lapdogs will never stop being lapdogs
Whenever there’s a lap to sit on, these dogs would never miss the chance. Not even if they are big enough to be having such treatment. Just look at this Great Dane’s ecstatic face as it got the chance to sit on his owner’s lap.
32. Giant dog needs a hug
Some dogs just think that they need to be always treated as puppies no matter how much time passes. Take this beautiful scene for example. No matter how gigantic the dog was, he would always take the chance to give hugs to his owner.
33. He still thinks he’s a pup
Seriously, lapdogs just bring this habit even to their growth. Even though it would be quite complicated to fit this giant dog on a chair with his dad, the dog still thinks that he deserves the treatment.
34. Monster-sized Great Dane
This Great Dane has grown up taller than his owners. Although, despite his massive size, the lapdog in him has not died. In fact, this is him with his mom just sitting together on the couch as they smile at the cameras.
35. Switching places
I wonder what happened that the situation ended like this one. Perhaps the big dog thinks he’s still small enough to be on the little dog’s bed and on the other hand, the little dog thinks that he has grown enough for the bigger bed. Regardless of who thought who, it is rather quite an interesting story.
36. K9 wants some love
Even the K9 dogs deserve a little break on their own and that break is to sit on their parent’s lap, just like this particular German shepherd k9 on the plane. Moreover, the dog found it fun to be looking at the other passengers behind their seats.
37. Everyone’s faces are so priceless
People’s faces in the background are just hilarious. It seemed that they are surprised to see a gigantic dog trying to sit on her mom’s lap as she was relaxing under the sun. The poor pooch was waiting for its cuddles too!
38. “I’m not a step stool, little hooman.”
This dog has gotten so big that a toddler chose to use him as a stool to reach the end of the dinner table. The Pittie seemed to be annoyed with it, but it also looked like he could endure longer until the baby gets off him.
39. Puppy habits die hard
You cannot blame this giant Bernese dog to be still loving to receive cuddles and attention despite how much he has grown. Moreover, for him, the best place to receive all of these are on his mom’s lap. Look at the joy painted on his face as he received what he wanted to have.
40. They couldn’t even fit on one carpet anymore
These two dogs have grown so big together that they just could not fit on their favorite placemat anymore. Regardless, they were still coming back to sleep on it together even though some parts of them would be on the floor. Aren’t they sweet?
41. Look at all the jealous faces
The other dog’s disappointed faces are just too hilarious to watch. They were eaten by jealousy as the gigantic, yet adorable dog got chosen to have a seat on the lap. Hopefully, the other dogs got their own turn at the end.
42. One human bed is not enough
It’s time to get a new bed, but not for the sake of yourself, but for giant dogs like this St. Bernard. He never refuses to occupy the bed, even if his mom was still there cuddling with the cat. Perhaps a king-sized bed would suffice.
43. Lap sits on public
This dog has no shame on sitting on his dad’s lap while in public. Although, the dog seemed to be keen on guard as his butt was rested on the lap. However, it’s just silly how the way he sits just not seem to be comfortable, looking from here.
44. Dog looking like a tired granddad
This dog looks like a grandad that just wants to spend his day on the couch watching television. The way he just rests his chin while his butt on the couch says it all. This big dog needs a better headrest than this.
45. A big baby holder
This giant dog is big enough to occupy the whole couch. Even his head is almost as big as the baby on top of him. That aside, he is really reliable enough to have a baby on his body for a short while.
46. Every time is a perfect time to sit on mom’s lap
This Mastiff is just the most extreme lapdog on the list. Even if the mom was not ready for it, this big dog would always be up to sit on his mom’s lap. Well, once he’s sat, you would have to rub his sides and back.
47. Dog thinks he could still fit in his old cage
Some dogs are perhaps delusional or just plainly forgetful regarding their growth. This Pittie thinks that he could fit into his old puppy cage. Now, look at what the pooch has gotten himself into. Hopefully, it was easy to get the silly dog unstuck.
48. No more space for other humans
If you are looking for a space on the porch swing, too bad, the dog already occupied it. As a matter of fact, he is a great lapdog. This gigantic German shepherd does not fail to outstanding people, especially with its fierce exterior yet a gentle heart.
49. “Can I order a K9 with extra large fries and drink?”
Imagine this pooch to be the one who will take a fast-food restaurant’s order. You cannot take his face seriously, but he sure is a pattable dog. Although it would be plenty bad if he chooses to eat it right on the stop.
50. The pawrfect dance partner
This dog is huge enough to be his mom’s dancing partner. The dog could easily rest his paws on the mom’s shoulder as they slowly sway side by side in the room. The Dog Waltz would be the perfect song to play for this number.
51. Elegant lapdog
This dog had never stopped loving being on his owner’s lap ever since it was little. He loves the cuddles, the hugs, and even the smooches whenever he comes to rest himself there. I mean, who would not love such a charming dog?
52. Damn it shrinking couch!
He must be thinking about how sitting on the couch was not so hard before. Either the couch shrank, or he just grew a lot, his eyes said that he’s still in deep thought about it. To be honest, he really is a big pooch.
53. He’s almost as big as a miniature horse
Aren’t the two animals just adorable? The Newfoundland dog has met a miniature horse that is almost as big as him. It would be nice to see the two just run around in their yard.
54. “What are you looking at?”
This gigantic dog just cannot be anywhere without being close to his dad. Even on the couch, he would always be the second occupant, leaving no one but him to be near his dad. Perhaps you would like to try and join them?
55. This dog’s practically a house wolf
This would be the type of dog that one would certainly dream of riding outside. This malamute had just grown so big that this would always one of the options to consider. Though, instead of that, this man would always have a malamute that’s stuck on his lap.
56. Giant dog on board

57. Another house wolf on the loose
He is one perfect house wolf with his sharp eyes and gigantic size. Although, despite the intimidating look, his mom claims that he still acts like a big baby. Furthermore, this giant loves a lot of cuddles and belly rubs.
58. “Is this perhaps my natural habitat?”
This gigantic malamute just perhaps found his natural habitat. He just needs to join a pack to survive the cold wild. But of course, that’s not going to happen as this dog is already happy with his mom and her Shiba Inu companion. Although, this size is certainly not what you are going to miss.
59. Taking a big fluffy dog with you outside
This giant sheepadoodle named Zammy causes passersby to take interest in him every time his owners take him on walks. People are just drawn to his cuteness, but of course, his peculiar size. He is gentle to humans, so if you happen to meet him, make sure to give him some pets.
60. Lion-like dog
The name of this particular dog breed, Leonberger, simply reflects their brave front and even their proud stature. Moreover, as gentle they are to their owners, they are also quite protective of them. This is one of the proud Leonbergers named Simba, though this one’s a tad bigger than the normal-sized ones.

This Golden retriever has become so fat that she practically became the welcome mat. This chonky dog is ballooning as if someone inflated her with air. I bet his look says that he needs more tasty treats.
63. Giant dogs rocking their sunglasses
Meet Bauer and Shiloh, giant pooches who have a sense of eyewear fashion. They are big enough that they are able to wear human glasses, plus, don’t you think that these adorable pooches rock their sunglasses?
64. A barking bear?
Is it a bear? Is it a dog? You won’t know unless you take a closer look. Although relax, it is a Newfoundland dog named Ralphie, and one that is large enough to be thought of to be a small bear. He is quite popular on Instagram along with his brother, The Boss.
65. A mattress should be enough for this humongous dog
This is Bella, a gigantic, yet adorable Great Dane dog. With her big size, a simple dog bed would not suffice anymore and so the parents had to improvise. Imagine how many times the parents had to change beds for their lovely dog.
66. Dogs just grow up way too fast

67. Human-sized dog
At first glance, one would think that the dog looks like Chewbacca, a famous Star Wars character. Although, at second glance you could clearly see a tall dog that’s almost at the same height as its owner. Well, he just came here for a quick ‘hello.’
68. Happy Birthday, Lincoln
Here’s Lincoln, the Great Dane just celebrating its 1st birthday party. Although Great Danes are known to be huge breeds, it still wonders how this one-year-old dog managed to get so big. Perhaps, in the following years, we would even be more surprised.
69. A dog’s size won’t change anything
This is Iggy, an elegant Golden doodle. No matter how big they would get, nothing won’t change except their size. For example, for this dog, no matter how large she would get, she would still climb up on her owner’s laps for some cuddles.

72. 150-pound Newfie on the neighborhood

Chow chow’s are medium-sized breed dogs and it is their thick fluff that disguises their real size. Although, in this case, this chow seemed to be considered a giant in his own breed, It almost looks like a bear and a dog having a puppy together.
So, that was the last entry on the list. Although some would say that a larger size is more intimidating, a lot would surely disagree. Plenty of these dogs on the list are gentle and loving dogs that just seek attention from their owners. In fact, Chihuahua’s are way fiercer than a Golden Retriever.
