It is heartbreaking to realize that somewhere in the world, there are dogs that are left to die on the streets and some pups are waiting in shelters, hopeful that they will finally find the one who will give them a forever home. While there are people who are heartless enough to leave a dog behind, there are still people who are genuinely concerned about the welfare of these animals.

1. Dramatic transformation
From being found alone and hungry in the streets, this pup has dramatically transformed into a lively and energetic dog. He is healthy now and can sleep without any fear of not having any food to eat.
2. When Anna was finally found
Anna is from Italy and was wandering the streets there. Once adopted, Anna’s health and appearance improved a lot. She even has a friend now!
3. From skin and bones to fat and fluffy
The “before” picture of this dog is so heart-breaking. How can someone leave a dog in such a state? Fortunately, someone took her in and gave her the love she deserved.
The loose skin of this little guy in his “before” photo only showed how malnourished he was. After getting adopted, he found a new lease in life and is now a healthy little doggie.
5. This doggo’s happy smile
Due to his cropped ear and “scary” face, no one wanted to adopt Bronco which made him really sad. But, he eventually found someone who loves him and this is his happy smile!
More than three years ago, this dog could not even take care of her puppies and she was malnourished herself. Now, she has become a lovely dog with shiny fur and a healthy weight.

Some people like to eat exotic food and their menu can even include dog meat at times. Little Gus Gus almost got victimized in the meat trade, but luckily someone saved him!

Phyllis is not a young dog when he was found. He was emaciated and had some issues health-wise. However, someone took pity on him. loved him and helped him survive. Here he is now, all lively and healthy!
Timmy was hit with a blunt object over his head. He refused to give up and survived the incident. He found love and his forever home and eventually gained his health back.
Looking at this little pup’s “before” photo brings me to tears. Who would leave a pup in this state? It was a real blessing that Nic came across a person who loved him and nourished him back to health.
13. From fur-less to furry!
Lucia was left fur-less for being so severely malnourished. But, she eventually found her forever family and now, she has grown her fur back and is looking really healthy!

She was once filled with blisters and unhealthy. After four years of being adopted, this little cutie gained her health back and now has a shiny fur!
This doggo looked like a skeleton when his rescuers first saw her. After getting the love, care and nourishment she needed, her real beauty has finally emerged.

Barkley used to live in Puerto Rico when he was rescued from being alone in the streets. He was filled with wounds then due to his lack of nourishment. Now, he’s a pretty puppy that loves to sleep on the sofa.

Old dogs deserve to be loved and cared for, too. Ruthie was 16 years old when she was found. Her age did not matter and she was loved and cared for just like any other dog. Her transformation is definitely an inspiring one.
Rambo was left behind by the family who used to care for him. After living on the streets, he finally found someone who will love him and here he is now with his happy smile.

Casey, a senior doggo, was living in the streets and had a tumor when she was rescued. She is now a healthy big sister and has been happy ever since she found a home to call her own.
22. Before and after leaving the shelter
Waiting in the shelter for someone to take them in leave the dogs feeling down and lonely. But after this dog was adopted, the happiness in his face is quite obvious and infectious!
Ruth was used for breeding. After her role was done, she was discarded and left in a shelter. It was a blessing that someone found her and loved her. Now, she’s a happy pup.
This dog was living in the streets of Nepal when someone took pity on him and decided to take him in. Now he is living in a hotel and has found the love and care he was looking for.

The marks of a zip tie in this puppy’s mouth is just so heart-breaking to see. It was a good thing that someone found him and saved him. Now, he is a free puppy who enjoys the sun and playing outside.

27. 10 weeks after leaving the streets
Dex used to live in the streets and had to really fight for hi survival. He was fortunately resuced and after ten weeks of receiving love, this little fighter has gained his health and beauty back.

This Mommy dog used to suffer from mange and could not care for her pups properly. She was saved and adopted and now, she goes on adventurous trips to the forest with a wide variety of colorful bandanas in her doggie closet.

Can you believe that the two dogs in the picture are one and the same? The state this dog used to be in is definitely heart-breaking. Thank heavens he has found a home where he can live happily and free from pain and sickness.
30. Nacho, the one-eyed doggo
Cute little Nacho was alost bald and very skinny when he was adopted. Finding his forever home gave him a new lease in life and a healthier body!
The look in Harper’s eyes in his photo while in the shelter says it all. He was utterly lonely. But, a year after his adoption, Harper has grown happier and full of energy.

From being a lonely dog in his cage, this doggo is now a king that sleeps in a bed like a boss. It was a good thing he was found and adopted by a real family.

What this dog looked like before being rescued is an image that will haunt my memory always. The transformation he has undergone is amazing and something that dogs should not experience. It is a good thing that is finally safe now and free from whatever caused him to look like that.

Ripley was in Iran for 6 months and experienced a difficult environment there. When he got home, he finally was able to let go and be the fun and lively doggo he really is.

Because of a minor skin condition, it was decided that this pup should go down. But, someone thought she needed another chance. Here she is after months from being given another lease in life.
This little one was left in the park, but was too young to look after herself. Someone had the heart to rescue her and she is now a pretty and healthy young thing!

Seeing these photos makes us all want to believe that there is still good out there in the world. There will always be people who will choose to do what’s good for these lost puppies and we are truly blessed that these kind folks are around to help.
Being kind to dogs is not that hard, and adopting those who are lost and in need of love is an act that definitely makes this world a better place.
