50 hilarious times animals got themselves in a sticky situation

Animals can be silly and are often known for getting themselves into some crazy situations. Like getting themselves stuck somewhere.

Sometimes they are stuck because their curiosity got the best of them. Often they are stuck because of food. As in they thought there might be some food in whatever thing they now have their heads stuck in.

Here are 50 instances where animals have got themselves in a sticky bind and made us laugh.

1. Squirrel!

It clearly wasn’t sitting on the window ledge. Maybe it was on the arm of the chair and saw a squirrel? Maybe a bird? Then it lunges and gets stuck.

2. Go get in your bed

Maybe this doggo was told to get in his bed. If so, he was being a very good boy and being obedient. Perhaps a little too literal, but obedient.

3. Are they really stuck?

Stuck suggests they ended up somewhere by accident. I think these guys are more along for the ride, then stuck. They are having themselves some fun.

4. Why and how are they outside?

Hopefully this guy didn’t drag them off the window and out of the house. Maybe they were at the curb on garbage day. What a temptation!

5. In reverse

I love how it starts to back up. Is there a sense that going backward will remove the thing stuck in front? I don’t know.

6. That took a minute

At first, I couldn’t figure out what I was looking at. Then the poor thing turned over. Thong sandals just aren’t made for the neck—any neck.

7. That looks creepy

But I bet that guy isn’t stuck. It got itself in there quite deliberately and will be able to get out just as easily. It’s those rubber bones.

8. Now I’ve done it!

Look at this poor ferret stuck in a toilet paper roll. But maybe he’s not too upset. Is it just me, or does that look like a happy face?

9. Hello, there

Mr. Woodchuck is in a bit of a bind there. And those woodchuck teeth are not going to be of any help.

This didn’t use to happen. What’s going on? Could this mean… Have I gained that much weight?

Could I get some help, please? This is a great vantage point for watching TV, but things seem to be skewed for some reason.

Who knows what this doggo had in mind but I can bet it wasn’t this. And I marvel that it didn’t knock anything down—yet. It’s like watching a Roomba at the end, following the wall, but not hitting the table.

It wasn’t supposed to end this way. I’ve been so dignified all my life, and here I end. Stuck with my butt hanging out.

This would actually scare me. If I walked into a room and saw that face in the sofa, I think I would have a moment of panic. But is he really stuck there?

I’m not sure what not opening the blind has to do with the situation. But this guy is caught between the screen and the windowpane and is scared.

Thank you, kind sir. I can’t imagine the terror animals must feel when this happens. They will suffocate. Why can’t people dispose of their litter in the proper manner?

I’m not sure what he has his head stuck I, but it’s definitely stuck. And given the stuff on the floor behind, I’m guessing someone has been into things he shouldn’t be.

Well, the pretzels were there, right? It should be expected that they would be a temptation. But he sure got caught in the act!

This guy had seen the cat get through that door, so there was no reason he couldn’t right? Because he’s superior to a cat, right? Well, maybe. But he still couldn’t get through that door.

I saw an inch worm and wanted to see what their life was like. Very interesting, I’m sure, but now I just want out of this thing. I need my legs!

It should have been so simple. Just step ahead and it would be out. But nope, things went sideways and now he’s trapped.

I want out! I just want out! And if my legs were just a few inches longer I would be free. But, no!

I could have gone around to were that big opening is, but that was farther away, and I wanted through the gate now. I’m sorry. Please get me out.

How does it go? “A spring, a spring, a marvelous thing. For fun it’s a wonderful toy.” I don’t think this guy finds it to wonderful right now.

26. There’s stuck, and then there’s this

I can tell one of these is a goat, but I’m not sure about the other. Goats are climbers and can get into odd places, but this looks like a problem.

27. This cat looks familiar

There was another black and white cat with its butt hanging out of a drawer. Is it just me, or is this the same cat? If so, it hasn’t learned its lesson.

28. I cannot believe this!

Look at that face. It is totally pissed at the situation. Since cats can often squeeze into tiny places, I guess it misjudged.

29. What are you looking at?

I personally hate those garden hoses. Sure, they store easier, but you’re fighting with them all the time. Or getting wrapped up in them.

I know I’m not supposed to get into the dishes, but it was so shiny! Who knew it would also be so slippery? I just can’t get my legs to work in this thing.

31. This isn’t even funny

It’s stuck, and that’s a terrible thing. I hope it didn’t hang there for a long time. The speculation is that when the wire was still on the ground, the sheep was in the vicinity, then got caught when they began to hoist it.

Why do they make these things so small? Hasn’t everyone realized by now that we all come in different shapes and sizes?

That is a Ben & Jerry’s tub. Who here hasn’t tried to stick their head in to get the last bit of their favorite flavor?

It looks like he’s spilled his water everywhere. So he’s pretty smart to go looking for a plumbing part, IMO.

Here he is. The wizard of polar bears. While that looks hysterical, I hope he didn’t have to wait too long to have that removed. This bear is clearly in captivity. Or he has snuck in somewhere where he’s not supposed to be.

36. I don’t think he’s too concerned

I think I see a tongue in there. He’s too busy working for his treat to worry about the fact his head in entombed.

37. What happens when you’re a slob

Not the cat. The owner. He left his suit on the floor overnight and woke up to his cat like this. Poor thing. It could have been stuck all night.

38. The baby gate

Was he trying to get to the baby or away from the baby? Or maybe it was his gate, keeping him out of somewhere he wasn’t wanted. And he thought he would try anyway.

39. Was the call answered?

His head is about to be eaten off by a shark. But the bat signal is right beside him. Did he call for help? Did it come?

40. The dark is fine

Seriously, if the choice was removing that or living without electricity, which would you choose? I certainly wouldn’t be part of this mission.

I’m sure he thought this was a bright idea. That he could shine in his new lantern hat. But things went so wrong.

I feel we’ve met this cat. A few times. Black and white. Back end hanging out of something. Legs sticking out.

43. The cost of greed

At one time, there was probably something yummy in that bag. Maybe there still is. And this guy just had to have some. And now he’s stuck.

Was he climbing up between the two trees? Did he take a running jump and try to get through the opening?

45. Feeling crusty

So, did he find a whole slice and eat the middle, not realizing it was slipping around him like a noose? Or did someone actually eat the middle themselves and leave the crust like that?

How did he manage to entrap himself in so many hangers? You’d think that after the first or second, he’d realize he might want to stop.

I shouldn’t laugh. And every guy that looks at this will probably cross his legs. But seriously, I bet the only nuts he was thinking about for a while were his own!

I’ve been bad and have to sit with my back to the class. I’m going to hide my face in shame while I’m at it.
