Their self-control was put to the test.

It’s feeding time in a house with 6 pit bulls and who’s in charge?

A 4-year-old girl!

If that makes you cringe, then you’ve definitely got the wrong idea about these dogs. They’re like any other in that they’re as kind and gentle as they’re raised to be (just like 4-year-olds!).

We couldn’t help but laugh as these 6 cuties sat and stood, tails wagging, waiting for little Taysley to finally give them the goods.

They’re so patient – they’ve clearly been trained well.

The little girl seems to be reveling in her authority at this moment, giving the dogs a good chat before they get their food. She even thanks them by name for being good boys when they sit.

Well, except for one – he’s not sitting. But boy does he fall in line when Little Miss Taysley claps her hands!

As she reaches behind her for a large bowl of food, we expect to see all the pups go at it. But she psychs them out, taking it back as soon as they make a move.

These dogs are going to have to show they know how to behave perfectly before they get dinner.

As the food gets laid on the floor it’s almost like you can hear them trying to eat it with their minds – there’s so much concentration on that bowl, but no one moves a muscle.

Their expectant faces get more desperate by the moment, and it’s hard not to crack a smile. We understand completely why this video (which is pretty blurry) has over 10 million views since 2015 – and that’s for a repost from Pitbull Channel!

The adult filming (who appears to be the girl’s aunt) be the moves around the group of dogs with the camera as the kiddo sets out the grub. And the dogs give her a pleading look while licking their lips like “please, mom, let this be over soon!”

Apparently, the dogs eat from a large pile of food on the floor. It’s a little perplexing but we’re pretty sure the floor is probably cleaner after that than it would be if 6 dogs were eating out of bowls.

“Staaaaaaay” the little girl croons as she dumps a second bowl of food on the floor.

And they stay alright!

Next, she spreads out the food by rolling the bowl over it – we don’t want anyone’s lips to get bit when these hungry dogs all go at the pile together. And they have clearly given up on being fed immediately since they’re just looking dejectedly at the ground now.

All heads follow her the minute she moves a muscle though – they’re just waiting for that sweet command that will finally allow them to chow down.

This cute 4-year-old is so excited to finally stand in front of her furry friends and ask “are you guys ready?” And they look up at her as if to say “OMG, we were BORN ready!”

The woman in the background then asks her to count – which must be the cue for them to start their engines.

Then she simply snaps her little fingers, and says “OK” and they all head in for a feast.

Gathered in a circle so they can each get the best angle, the noise is really something to behold! Then again, it sounds exactly what you’d expect 6 hungry pit bulls all eating at the same time to sound like.

Taysley, on the other hand, simply bounces around them, excited for what she’s managed to accomplish.

In the background, the dogs’ mom narrates when we’ve just seen:

“Six male pit bulls. People say it can never be done. They live and eat together. They’re a family. That was a 4-yea-old that was able to tell those dogs what to do and when to do it. Thank you. Have a great day – and love your pit bull.”

It’s true that people say it can’t be done. Despite seeing the video, commenters on the original Facebook post still insisted her family was asking for a blood bath.

Some people just can’t get over stereotypes.

Nevertheless, we’re impressed by everyone involved!
