Not many people practice the ancient Japanese martial art of Ninjitsu, but it’s certainly not forgotten. As it turns out, there are many ninja masters that exist today — they just happen to be covered in fur and meow.

These incredible (and hilarious) photos prove something that many of us have always thought — cats are sneaky ninjas.

There is even a Japanese photographer who loves taking photos of cats in crazy ninja poses. Hisakta Hiroyuki shares his photos on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook; although not all of them are ‘ninja-based,’ each one is adorable. The ‘ninja cat’ photos just happen to be the most entertaining.

We scoured the internet for some of his best ‘ninja cat’ photos, along with others from the great people across the globe.

Here are 30 warrior cats who have mastered the art of being a ninja.
