A 911 call was made by a 13-year-old boy after he was reportedly attacked by an alligator.
During this call, Gabriel described his injury and asked for help.
When asked bout what part of his body was bitten, he responded that it was his right hip.
It was evident during this call that the boy was still in control of his emotions even during this terrifying situation.
Having an encounter with an alligator is scary, especially for a teen like Gabriel Klimis.
Gabriel was walking along a Creek with some friends and his brother, Howell, in Winters Springs in Florida, on June 20 when an alligator suddenly launched towards him and tried pulling him underwater.
At the moment, he thought he would not get out of this situation.
Fortunately, he reacted quickly and was able to get away.
He immediately picked up a stick nearby and fought to pull himself out of the gator’s jaws.
At that moment all he thought of was to get out of the situation as quickly as possible to avoid anything worse from happening.
He was able to escape, injuring his hip and luckily the reptile backed up and swam away.
His brother Howell and their friends were in shock.
During an interview, his brother narrated how they were all shocked when they witnessed the situation.
The little guy couldn’t help but freak out and cry after witnessing what was happening to his brother.
Given Howell’s age, it must have been very scary to watch your brother being attacked by a huge reptile.
After escaping, Gabriel managed to call 911 and was rushed to the hospital where they treated his injuries.
His mother also spoke about how she cried when she saw the size of the alligator that tried to get her son.
However, she was very thankful that her son survived this horrific situation.
A lot of the people who watched this video thought that the boy was very lucky to have survived the situation.
This is very true knowing how huge and strong this reptile was.
It was a good thing that Gabriel thought fast and pulled himself out of the situation.
Many people warn that everyone in Florida should assume that any body of water may have a gator underneath.
This is because Florida has a warm climate, a lot of freshwater marshes, wetlands, and swamps that provide the best habitat for the gators.
Overall, everyone is glad that the boy is fine and they send him their prayers.
There have been a lot of alligator attacks reported in Florida and it is very important to make sure to be very extra careful when you decide to swim or walk on Creeks like this.
Alligators can be very dangerous and command respect and caution.
Although they usually attack when they feel threatened, there are also reported unprovoked attacks.
This is why it is still very important to take extra caution when you are in their habitat.
