Animals are cautious creatures, but there is also curiosity that urges them to explore things, especially the things that are unknown to them. Just as crows are afraid of scarecrows once, you could see these birds perching on their stick arms after just a few weeks. Observe this particular deer as she meets a snowman for the first time.
A peculiar encounter in the snow.
Christmas is just around the corner and we know how the white, powdery snow rains down in some parts of the world during this merry time of the year. As we all know, when kids see snow, they imagine snowmen with their hats and their carrot nose, especially after watching Olaf the snowman from the Disney movie, Frozen.
However, animals have to forage enough food to survive the cold winter. One day, a deer was prancing in the snow, probably looking for something to eat, when she encountered an unfamiliar figure in the way. It was a little snowman, and the little deer staggered for a second the moment she noticed it.
She could have run but there is something that kept her interested.
Naturally, the deer was first afraid of the snowman that was idly standing upright in the open. However, she became curious about the yummy scent that envelops the snowman, which is why she decided to approach it. She was cautious and careful in her approach.
She slowly snuck from the sides then went in front only to see the snowman’s smiling face. The deer put her nose around her face and the smell just encouraged her to eat her nose. The snowman does not seem to mind as the hungry deer munched on her pointy carrot nose.
The deer was not satisfied so she went for the snowman’s hair.
After chewing and swallowing the snowman’s nose, the deer noticed that there are more yummy munchies on top of its head. The snowman has no hat but he sure did have a stack of carrots as his hair. The deer immediately went for it and chowed on the tasty carrots.
Another deer appeared on the scene to see what his friend was doing. The first deer had already put every carrot in her belly, leaving nothing for her friend. Despite all that, the deer was not satisfied and so she toppled down the snowman’s head, scaring the other deer away.
She thought that there could be more goodies hiding somewhere, but unfortunately, dhe was unable to find one. Instead, she looked for carrot remains at the snowman’s feet and gobbled every bit of it.
The random encounter fed a hungry passerby.
The clip was featured in The Dodo and was uploaded on their YouTube channel. The funny yet wholesome video earned more than two million views with people sharing their hilarious reactions on the comment section. That deer sure was lucky to have a feast in the middle of the snow-covered plains.
Thanks to whoever put that snowman there, a random deer was able to make the most of it. Moreover, looking at the funny deer munching every bit of carrot just makes you smile non-stop. Surely, she went back to her friends and family to share htis peculiar encounter with a generous snowman whom she beheaded for her carrots.
