Nothing can be more exciting than that of the life of a puppy.
Every day is a new adventure full of new sounds, smells, and people, and whilst for some that can be anxiety-inducing, it’s most puppies’ dream come true. Puppies even seem to get a kick out of the mundane things, like driving in the car or going grocery shopping, and this next story is a perfect example of that!
When a woman from California first took her puppy to her local Target store, she wasn’t expecting to be met with the excited reaction that she was given! To her, it was just a regular grocery trip, but to her puppy, it was like entering a whole new world full of excitement! The woman managed to snap some of the most adorable puppy pics we’ve ever seen, and she shared them onto Facebook for everyone to fall in love with.
When Zira, a 4 month-old Corgi and Mini Aussie mix, visited Target with her mom Jesse, she enjoyed her experience so much that she couldn’t take the smile off her face!
The little pup sat in the shopping trolley and looked excitedly around her as Jesse pushed her through the store, and she looked so cute that Jesse couldn’t resist taking a few photos, which she submitted onto the Facebook page, Love What Matters.
“My dog went to Target—and look how happy she is! Zira’s a 4 month-old Corgi and Mini Aussie mix; and is in love with anything she can chew!” Jesse shared on the post. “She’s a very social dog who loves to play with her friend, Poppy, the pit bull. Car rides are her favorite—she loves to go meet new friends.”
Apparently, Zira’s cuteness soon attracted the attention of other shoppers, and before long the sweet little pup was already making friends!
“While we were turning a corner, this woman shopping saw her and freaked out!” Jesse said. “She couldn’t stop going on and on about how cute Zira was. Zira just started licking her, and the woman loved it. She even picked Zira up and let her kiss her face! She kept telling us what a beautiful and sweet dog, Zira is. Just another day of Zira spreading love and joy to the world… She loves meeting new people and getting attention!”
Unsurprisingly, the post soon went viral, with over 51k reacts, as well as 8.4k shares and thousands of comments. We’ve also learned that it was actually Zira’s second trip to Target – but the little pup slept soundly through the whole of her first trip, missing out on all the excitement!
“This was her second trip, although her first one she just slept the entire time,” Jesse told Bored Panda. “She loves getting new toys, ones that squeak, crinkle, or bounce. And since she’s our first dog, she gets spoiled as much as possible!”
We bet she does!
And judging by that happy expression, we’re guessing that this won’t be Zira’s last trip to her new favorite store. We wonder what kind of exciting toys she’ll be getting next time?
