What will you do when you badly need someone’s attention? Certainly, you will exhaust all ways just to get a response. But this little canine here just exceeds that as she takes her attention-seeking behavior to another level.

When she didn’t get her friend’s attention after a series of constant woofing, the pug imitated her friend’s meow making the cat confused in awe and disbelief.

The pug owner said that Layla kept on barking at her yet got no response. Probably tired of her friend Oscar’s undivided attention, she meowed at her causing Oscar to quickly turn to look at her, shooting her with dagger eyes as she’s about to catch some claws … Almost the start of a good fight!

Here is another video that’s similar to Layla and Oscar.

Pugs are loveable and kind.

These cute little puppies are known for being easygoing and loveable. They have a loving temperament that makes them easy to get along with, even for cats. However, the problem lies with the cats. It’s really hard to please them when they look at you with those bloodshot eyes.

Pugs usually are smaller in size than other breeds of dogs. This is the reason why cats are never intimidated by them. They are loving and kind and will want to be friends with cats as much as they do with humans. They usually want to play around and try to be goofy and silly with cats.

While pugs are calm and kind, cats can be the opposite. Although there are instances where cats are friendly and playful, they mostly have a reputation for being aloof.

Still, even though their personalities are often different, little pugs and cats can be good friends.

Cats are known to be doggo’s best enemies, but the story is different with pugs. Aside from their body size, pugs are born with no instinct to prey on other animals unlike other breeds of dogs we usually encounter.

Of course, (in the cat’s POV), who would want to have a friend who’s gonna eat you at the end of a sweet small talk? Certainly, no one! Since little pug puppies have this unique trait, a smooth relationship can occur between them and cats, if and only, the cat is in a good mood.

For the most part, the cat will just ignore the pug but eventually, if the pug goes overboard with the things just to win her friend’s attention, their friendship may last longer and who knows, could be a perfect match for adoption to a zoophilist.
