Prepare yourself. This one has all the makings of a heart melter. Whether you’re a dog person or a cat person, throw that out the window because by the end of this one, you’ll love both. Canine and mutt factions, unite!
It starts off with a lady named Lindsay narrating how she found a kitten at a park. The little one was by a tree but she immediately ran towards Lindsay who was holding her phone filming the entire moment. The kitten ran after her, jumping around and just being her cute little self.
“Okay, well… You’re coming home with us.”
The kitten was named Wendy and within the day, she won everyone’s hearts.
The very socially active kitten wasn’t done winning the hearts of her humans though.
Lindsay says they set Wendy down in front of a Mastiff named George, and the kitten positioned herself between the dog’s paws, laying down as close as she could to the big guy to the point of almost going under George. Your heart melting yet?
Wendy was about the size of George’s paw. According to this nice lady, she would climb on to the Mastiff’s back and sit, or sometimes nestle up to George’s chest. This good boy doesn’t mind as he is “extremely gentle”. We can see that. Can we play with him?
George and Wendy are inseparable.
Whenever they would try to move the cat or the dog, Wendy would just go right back to her big friend. Big as in 135 pounds. But Wendy never once showed fear. She was “just all over him” according to Lindsay.
She’s a brave cat!
Wendy loves George. She constantly follows him and meows her heart out in the presence of big George. She snuggles up to him, rubbing and sometimes kissing her big friend when she can. Plus, she wouldn’t be a cat if she didn’t play with her friend’s tail!
How does George react to all this?
“George loves it. he’s really good with it. He never moves. He never gets up or walks away. George loves all animals, he really does.”
There are ducks and chickens there and Lindsay says George is great with them. He is such a good boy that he acts as their guardian.
Wendy came at the right time. See, George had a friend named Debbie. A really cute pig who, unfortunately, passed away. George was heartbroken.
“When Wendy came in, I think she filled a void in his heart and in ours too.”
Can this get any sweeter?
George has, in return, made Wendy feel safe and loved. Plus, those personalities match in a good way. George is the calm, big guy with Wendy having all the energy which also brings out the puppy in George. A match made in furry heaven.
Notice the heart on Wendy’s left rib area? Her heart is so huge that it had be printed on her coat. That’s how special she is, and she’s decided to give that heart not just to her loving humans, but to big George as well.
And chances are, Wendy and George got your heart by now too. Told you so.
