All that Ron wanted was to eat his lunch in peace. Dinky, his beloved Great Dane, made sure that that wasn’t possible.
Everyone knows that dogs love to beg for food. But Dinky might just be the funniest food beggar out there. One video showcases his whining like no other.
Ron, Dinky’s owner, sat down in his living room to enjoy some lunch. It was a delicious Philly cheesesteak. Dinky ran right up to Ron and stared into his eyes, pleading for just one bite.
But Ron was hungry and wanted his sandwich all to himself. So he told Dinky to shoo. After all, Dinky had refused to eat his own breakfast, and it was still waiting for him.
This made Dinky mad. He started not-quite-growling, not-quite-whining at Ron.
Ron tried to calm his dog down. But when Dinky kept on acting out, the owner lost his cool.
“Listen to me!” he said to the dog loudly. But Dinky was still having a hissy fit.
Then Ron’s other dog, Ro-Ro, leaped up to join in. He wanted some of that cheesesteak too!
“I love you, but this is mine,” Ron told his dogs and took a bite out of the sandwich as the dogs looked on.
Then Dinky got even madder and louder. Ro-Ro just stared at Ron.
Finally, Ron relented. He tore off a small part of his sandwich and fed it to Ro-Ro.
Then he tore off another piece and moved it in Dinky’s direction. “What do you say?” Ron asked Dinky.
Dinky responded with some whines that sounded just like, “I love you.” Ron then made Dinky say it a few more times before he gave him the piece of sandwich. At last, Dinky had got what he had wanted.
Just to be nice, Ron then gave all of his dogs a few more pieces of the sandwich.
The video cut out there. Luckily, Ron then uploaded the video to YouTube, where it soon went viral. To date, the video has gained over 7.2 million views. It also has more than 33,000 likes and 2,500 comments. People have been saying things like this:
And this isn’t the only video that Ron’s uploaded of Dinky and his other dogs.
In fact, one video is even more popular than the sandwich begging one.
Predictably, it also involves Dinky having a temper tantrum.
It began with Ron hugging Ro-Ro. Dinky looked at this and got jealous. So he started whining at Ron.
“Lay down. I can love Ro-Ro,” Ron told Dinky. But Dinky was still pissed off.
Then Ron told Dinky to lie down again, and the dog reluctantly lay on the couch. But to balance this act of obedience with disobedience, Dinky started whining even louder.
Ron kept on petting Ro-Ro. So Dinky sat up once more and started whining at Ron. Eventually, after Ron had told Dinky to not hate, Dinky slammed his body back onto the couch like an annoyed toddler (because he basically was one.)
But this just made Ron laugh, which clearly wasn’t what Dinky was going for. So Dinky got even madder.
This video has gained almost 12 million views.
Dinky’s temper tantrums are hilarious. And he has no idea how many people across the world love watching them!
