When the weather outside gets warm, you’ll probably start trying to think of ways to keep your dog cool. With their fluffy fur coats, dogs can easily get overheated during the warmer months of the year. If you’re searching for a fun way to keep your dog cool all summer long, try making them some ‘pupsicles.’

These pupsicle recipes are simple to make, and they’re healthy and delicious! Here are five pupsicles your dog is sure to love.

1. Chicken Pupsicles

If you’re looking for a way to give your pup some extra protein, try these chicken pupsicles. To makes these pupsicles, you’ll need:

  • 1-cup chicken stock
  • ½-cup water
  • 1 ½ cup chopped chicken meat

Combine these three ingredients in a bowl. Then, simply place them in a popsicle mold or an ice tray and pop them in the freezer. Your dog will love licking up these tasty and nutritious treats!

2. Yogurt, Honey, and Peanut Butter Pupsicles

Want to give your furry best friend a sweet treat? Try this four-ingredient pupsicle! To make this pupsicle, you’ll need:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 small container of Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter

Cut up the banana and place it in your blender. Then, add in the peanut butter and honey. Blend these three ingredients together until they’re smooth, and then add in your yogurt and blend again until the mixture is thick and creamy.

Next, put the mixture into ice pop molds or disposable cups. If you’d like, you can also use a nylon dog bone as your ‘popsicle stick.’ After that, simply place your pupsicles in the freezer and leave them until they’re frozen solid.

3. Blueberry and Peanut Butter Pupsicles

Blueberries are super healthy for dogs, and most pups love how they taste too. If your dog is a blueberry fan, try making these easy pupsicles. You’ll need:

  • Peanut butter
  • A container of Greek yogurt
  • A carton of blueberries
  • Water
  • Milkbones

First, grab an ice pop mold, and then place a dollop of peanut butter at the bottom of each mold. Layer the Greek yogurt on top of the peanut butter, and then top it with a few blueberries. Sprinkle a bit of water on top of each pupsicle to help it freeze, and then place a Milkbone in each mold to use as a popsicle stick. After that, simply place the pupsicles in the freezer.

4. Watermelon Pupsicles

Watermelon is the perfect fruit to eat on a hot day. If your dog is a watermelon fan, try making them these watermelon pupsicles. To make these pupsicles, you only need two ingredients:

  • A quarter of a watermelon
  • One can of coconut milk.

Chop up the watermelon and place it in a blender. Then, pour the coconut milk in the blender and blend the two ingredients together. Pour the mixture into ice pop molds or an ice cube tray, and freeze. In a few hours, you’ll have a sweet, cold treat your pup is sure to love.

5. Pumpkin and Banana Pupsicles

Pumpkin is full of vitamins and minerals that are healthy for dogs. If you’d like to make them a pumpkin-filled pupsicle, try this delicious recipe. You’ll need:

  • 1 cup of plain non-fat yogurt
  • 1 can of pumpkin puree
  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Mash up the banana and place in your blender. Then, add in the pumpkin puree. Blend these two ingredients together until the mixture is smooth. Place the mixture in a bowl, and add in your yogurt and honey. Stir everything together, and then pour it into ice pop molds and freeze.
