Dogs are known to be some of the most loving and supportive creatures on Earth.

When you’re sad, sick, or in a bad mood— somehow your dog knows it.

And more often than not, they’ll come and try to comfort you and cheer you up.

A dog named Habs is about as loving and supportive as a dog can be.

And he provides this love and support to more than just his humans.

He also provides this love and support to his stuffed animals.

Take his oversized teddy bear for example. Habs loves his big teddy bear.

It’s basically the same size or slightly bigger than he is.

The big teddy bear once belonged to Habs’ owner Jacqueline Estey.

But Habs called dibs pretty much as soon as he joined Estey’s family about three years ago.

Now Habs and his teddy bear are pretty much together 24-7.

“Habs has always been inseparable from the bear. He likes to bring the bear all around the house,” Estey told The Dodo.

“If you pick it up, he’ll follow you around until you put it back down for him.”

So separating Habs from his best buddy was no easy task. But it had to be done.

Has had become pretty filthy and needed to be washed. But this wasn’t going to stop Habs from being there for his best buddy.

I mean, how could he leave his best friend during such a trying ordeal as going through the washer and dryer?

He definitely was not about to do that. So sweet little Habs decided to stay by his buddy’s side every step of the way.

“My dog has a stuffed bear that he always hangs out with and he sat in front of the dryer the whole cycle just to make sure he would be okay,” Jacqueline wrote in a Tweet.

Thankfully Habs’ teddy bear wasn’t in the wash for long.

“I have never seen him do that for anything in the wash, other than his bear,” Estey said. “It was hilarious when I realized he was sitting there for the whole entire cycle and wasn’t moving for anything!”

The ordeal apparently slightly scarred Habs’ subconscious. He was having nightmares that the teddy bear was still in the washing machine and ran to go see if it was true.

“I heard Habs scratching at the dryer door,” Estey said. “When I went in there, he was looking for his bear in the washer and dryer!”

“I walked him downstairs and showed him where his bear was, where he continued to lay down next to his bear. He’s such a sweet puppy.”

If that’s not the definition of a good boy, I don’t know what is!
