Country music isn’t for everyone, but for the people who love it, they REALLY love it. There is just something about those twangy ballads that hit you right in the heart! Summer is a great time for country music – it’s warm out and every other song is about having a beer!
Chris Peterson is a country singer who has a very special fan.

You might be tempted to think it is his daughter or his mom or something like that – you would be close, you just have the wrong species! It’s actually his dog! Syd is an Australian cattle dog, the perfect dog for a country cowboy-country-singer!

Filmed in the car, Chris decided to capture his dog’s love for country music on camera. The two are driving with Chris driving and Syd hanging out in the passenger seat. When Chris hits the radio, we get to see what it’s all about.

It looks like Syd might take after LeDoux, too! She has more talents than just ranching!
Syd doesn’t just like listening to country music – she likes to sing along! As the song keeps playing, Syd throws back her head and howls to the moon like a wolf-dog-country singer-hybrid! For a dog, she is remarkably on time with the music.
Whenever the moment hits her, Syd can’t help but give the song all she has.
Could she use a bit of work on her tone? Probably. If we’re honest, however, we’ve probably heard humans who sound worse than Syd does. It’s almost like she knows the big parts and goes all out for those moments in the song.
As it ends, she gets a well-deserved pat on the head.
You can tell that this is a case of a man who truly loves his dog. They are obviously friends and love to sing with each other. The power of a good singing buddy isn’t to be underestimated!
