A stray kitten, motherless and on the brink of death, was fighting alone all by himself until a clever dog came and took him as his own. It is just amazing how a unique thing like this happens in real life.
This golden retriever instinctively saves an animal in danger.
The stray kitten was probably just loitering around the neighborhood and tried to scavenge for food to survive. It just happened that a Golden Retriever and his owner were around the area. Just seeing the kitten’s situation was plainly heartwrenching.
The kitten has matted fur, looked sickly, and it seemed like it already lost its mother Surprisingly, it was the pooch who approached the malnourished kitten and grabbed him by the neck using his mouth, and went to the car. The kitten did not show any signs of resistance as he probably knew the pooch was trying to help him. After some time, the kitten was already at the dog’s home, safe and sound.
Their lovely story started at the kitten’s new home.
Finally, the kitten is at a safer place as he was brought by the kind pooch to his own home. The dog’s owner then prepared a bottle of milk and fed it to the kitten in need. The weak kitten suddenly perked up in the presence of yummy milk and began sucking on it excitedly and messily.
The owner was happy to see the little kitty was very motivated to survive, and so they decided to take care of him longer. Not only that, but the golden retriever was always there to supervise her and even take him everywhere he wants. Moreover, the dog would accompany him even when the cute kitty is playing or whenever he’s dozing off. The small kitty loved the treatment and slowly transformed into a healthy kitten.
The dog’s way of being a father is just too sweet.
Just seeing them spend time together just melts your heart. He would coax the kitten with him to his bed and even groom the little kitten’s fur when it gets dirty. The kitten is very comfortable with him and he goes to eat with him and even bathes with him.
He already probably thinks that the mutt was his mom. Although, the dog himself treated him as his own, and it seemed like he is a father-in-training for his future kids.
The internet found out about their special bond.
Clips about this golden retriever were shared on the web and were even featured in Viral Paw’s YouTube channel. The video earned over 5 million views on the channel and they became such a sensational pair beloved by thousands of people.
