Animals seem to have the ability to get along with each other better than humans get along with other humans! We can see this recently, especially because it’s been amplified by the internet.

When most of us think of a kid, we imagine a sticky-handed, partially naked human that is running around a house without any concept of personal space. While that isn’t wrong, it isn’t the whole story! If you couldn’t tell from this video, a “kid” is also what you call a baby goat!

In a viral video, we see a “kid” meeting some farmhouse cats.

Hector is a newborn goat that looks like the cutest thing in the world. He is a specific breed of goat known as a Nigerian Dwarf and you can see just how little his features are in the video.

Hector lives on a farm with his mama.

Sunflower Farm Creamery is the farm that Hector and his mom live on! They told us a bit about Hector in the video’s description:

Hector the Nigerian Dwarf baby goat is just 2 days old. His Mama Amelia Earhart is a little protective of her only kid (most goats have 3-4 babies at once!) While he waits for cousins to be born in the stall next door, he has befriended the three barn kittens.

The moment when he starts playing with the kittens is absolutely adorable.

Hector is so small you might even think he is a small dog! You can see him trying to get up on the sacks of sawdust to hang out with his new feline friends, but he is BIG struggling. The kittens watch him with a disinterested look that is the perfect representation of a cat. Finally, he does get on top and proceeds to smell the “strange-looking goats”!

The kittens appear to want to sit alone, but Hector just wants to play!

Like a toddler chasing the household dog, Hector is having fun just from the chase! After a little, he gets tired and needs a bit of a snack, however. Thankfully, his mom is right there to provide a lunchtime refreshment in the form of some goat’s milk.

By the end of the video, we can’t help but have fallen in love with Hector.

Somehow, the name “Hector” fits this goat better than most humans fit their name! From wanting to play with the cats, to trying to get on the sacks, you kind of just wish you could watch him all day long while you work or something! Thankfully, YOU CAN!

Sunflower Farm has a Live Barn Cam where you can watch the goats all day long!

With modern technology, you never have to say goodbye! They have a Nest Camera that streams the goat pen where you can watch the whole family having a good time chowing down on some hay. If you work from home and love animals, it might just be the perfect thing for you.
