Did you know that pets appreciate music just as much as humans do? That’s what a recent viral video of a dog dancing proves.

When she heard her favorite song start playing over the speakers, the hilarious Boxer pup couldn’t resist busting out some moves.

The video has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times in the past few years, mainly because of how incredibly goofy it is.

“Our little fur babies Zoey. Loves this song Wiggle Wiggle. And she wants to show you how to put a little Wiggle Wiggle iggle in it,” the video description reads.

On the surface, the video description doesn’t make a lot of sense. However, once you see the clip of Zoey the Boxer dancing for yourself, you’ll totally understand.

The song that Zoey chose to dance to was “Wiggle” by Jason Derulo featuring Snoop Dogg.

It is one of her favorite dance tracks. She can’t get enough of the infectious beat and she fancies herself just as pretty as all of the women in the original music video.

When they say “Wiggle”, what they really mean is shaking your booty.

In the music video, Snoop Dog sits back and watches all of the women wiggling their booties with binoculars. It’s pretty ridiculous.

However, Zoey the boxer has seen the video thousands of times. Along the way, she has figured out how to do most of the moves herself as well.

When the song starts, she immediately begins wiggling her booty a little bit.

Her front paws move back and forth to the beat of the song and her tail jiggles around.

The expression on her face throughout the whole intro is priceless.

It’s stone-cold, but her body reveals how she really feels about the song — she loves it.

About 30 seconds in is when things really start to heat up though.

“What you going to do with that big fat butt?” the owner asks Zoey.

The chorus drops and Zoey immediately spins her butt around and starts shaking it in front of the camera.

First, she wiggles it to one side. Then she spins around and wiggles it to the other.

If you can watch her crazy moves without laughing, you are definitely stronger than us. We were cracking up the whole time.

Her wiggles are absolutely absurd, yet it’s not really a surprise that Zoey likes to dance.

There is a long history of animals responding positively to music.

For example, studies show that cows produce more milk if they listen to relaxing songs while hanging out in the barn. Some elephants play instruments. Meanwhile, the brains of birds light up in much of the same regions as human brains do when music comes on the radio.

Although, interestingly, not all species are big fans of the frequencies used in music made by people.

Cats don’t really appreciate our human songs. However, there have been songs made specifically for cats with frequencies and tempos that are pleasing to their species. Those ones, they like.

Zoey the Boxer, though, loves human music, especially hip hop songs.

The beat drives her booty to do insane things and she has very little control over it.

We could watch her hilarious dancing on repeat all day. Our only hope is that she makes more similar dance videos in the future. For her next video, we recommend the song “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-A-Lot. It’s right up her alley.
