We’ve all had days where we can barely keep our eyes open. Those exhausting days make us long for when we were younger and had a time specifically allotted in the day for “nap time”.
But hindsight is 20/20 after all. When you’re a kid, especially a baby, you’ll want to stay awake as long as you can so you can play and eat and do all the other joys that babies get to do.
So when the Sandman sprinkled some sleepy dust into this baby’s face, that baby wasn’t ready to fall asleep just yet.’
In fact, he does his best to defiantly resist his drowsiness while his trusty canine companion looks on.
The baby puts on a great effort. While he sways with his eyes closed, having us on the edge of our seat about if he’s going to fall over, the baby’s adorable dog makes sure to look out for him. The dog is quick to give the little baby some kisses just to remind him that he’s there if he needs anything.
The baby receives the message as he backs away from his dog’s kisses. But still, he stubbornly swings back and forth, not yet ready to fall into dreamland.
Finally, after counting enough little white sheep in his head, the baby gives in. And what he does next is too adorable for words.
Let’s just say that dog’s fur is awfully comfortable!
